|ckasi||RE: Charles Augustus Vreeland|
I guess we are distant cousins of some sort. I had a hard time finding Charles and I just wanted to verify, since it appeared to me you had proof of your information, who his parents were. I'm on Ancestry.com and most people have incorrect info on their trees. The only info my gma gave was his name was Charles Vreeland. From what I understand Maude had a very hard life. She married a Charles Steen and had a few more kids before he died abt 1941 (I think they were separated at that point). My grandmother was actually adopted and raised by her older sister Eleanor who may or may not be the child Marion. 1910 is the only mention of Marion. Thank you so much for your response, it was very kind of you. One day I will make it to Trenton to get more proof than Census & Phone Books! Just trying to keep my tree as accurate as possible! Curious to know if you were able to trace our roots back any farther as well, but don't want to be a bother to you. I grew up thinking gma was Irish, but clearly she's not as Irish as we thought!

I don't know how/if we are related. Charles was my gg grandfather. His daughter Maude had my grandmother Anna. Maude lived with her brother John with her 1st husband. On Ancestry&Family Search I found a birth record for Maude with the father & mother (Mary Vanderhoff) with her known birthday marked as Female Vreeland. I know the cemetary she is buried in, but not the exact location of the grave. We tried to find it this year when we did grave blankets but were unsuccessful. I was wondering if you had a copy of his death certificate, since you know his cause of death and his parents names. Any information you have to share would be greatly appreciated.

I have photo's of all the graves in Laurel Grove. The Duffy's are a relative of mine and we buried the last Duffy there. I can send you photos, but I don't know how to post them here.
Thankyou for your kind response & understanding. Thankyou for the flower you left on my dad's memorial, he was an amazing man & was both father & mother to my sister & I. We lost our birth mom to cancer when I was only 15mos old so all I had was the stories he would tell us about her & when he remarried to Kathy, she loved us as her own, that's why she was so important to me. I pray I do find her someday :) God bless you & again thankyou for responding so kindly.
|Annette Brunton||My father Lonnie Arthur Rush|
Hi Kathleen, my name is Annette & I noticed you had left a virtual flower for my dad Lonnie & I was extremely curious to know if you were my step-mom Kathy? I have been searching for her for years because she was an amazing woman who gave me so much love as a little girl & I lost contact with her when I was 8yrs old, I never forgot her & have held memories in my heart all this time. If it's not you please forgive me for bothering you but if it is you, I have missed you for so long & I have always loved you as my mom because you were the only mom I ever knew. I'm not trying to intrude in your life but if this is you I would love to have the opportunity to say hello & hope you have been well. Please let me know & God bless either way.
Kathleen, I found Peter Reasoner's tombstone in New Concord, OH. Sitting by itself in someone's front yard. I started a new cemetery on Findagrave called Reasoner's Burying Ground. Check it out. I think we are cousins on the Reasoner's side. Pete was my 5 G Grandfather. His son John was my 4 G Grandfather.
I saw your photo request for Ben and wife Mary at E'town Cem. I would like to see that too. Let me know if someone fulfills your photo request...please. Ben was my 5 G Uncle
