Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello fellow find-a-gravers,

Just found this wonderful artist and his touching rendition of Lord I need You! If you have a minute and a decent internet connection...

Now back to findagrave business...

To request transfer, please do not post your request here in the comments section. I ask that all transfer requests be made through the official "suggest a correction" mechanism. Just go to the memorial, click "edit", then click the last option which lets you send a free form request. That sends me a link to the memorial, which helps ensure I process the correct one, and also sends me your member number so I don't have to go look it up. This saves me two or three steps, and helps me be accurate.

Excluding my own kin and special memorials, all of my memorials are up for grabs. If you are kin, you should have them imo. If no kin comes forward, then anyone who has a connection. Maybe you live next to the cemetery? Maybe you went to school with him/her? Maybe I have one of your old co-workers. You get it :) Just ask!

If you are also adopting out your memorials, I would happily adopt any of my family surnames in the United States: Claussen, Crawford, Fox, Pennington, Petersen; and in Germany: Claussen.

Thanks, and may God bless you immensely today!

This is the day the Lord hath made. I will rejoice and be glad in it! (and not spend the whole day working on findagrave! LOL )

Just reviewing the information on this stone. If the stone says w/o of Gilbert, this is his wife's stone which would indicate she live many years after the census referenced. Makes one wonder if she was absent from the family. That said it is always good to review the actual census page. I find many many records are transcribed incorrectly. While true the census taker may have had poor handwriting or could not spell very well, quite often close review is the transcribers error. I was surprised to find this family at this location. Thanks for your work to put the information on Find A Grave. Karen

RE: Erastus PHILLIPS memorial
Hi Deb,

I'm embarrassed to say I wasn't in the habit of checking messages here at Find A Grave until now and just saw your message from 2013. Can't say I was aware you transferred Erastus's memorial to me back then, but I do thank you for doing so, albeit ever so belatedly!
