Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello fellow find-a-gravers,

Just found this wonderful artist and his touching rendition of Lord I need You! If you have a minute and a decent internet connection... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LuvfMDhTyMA&feature=share

Now back to findagrave business...

To request transfer, please do not post your request here in the comments section. I ask that all transfer requests be made through the official "suggest a correction" mechanism. Just go to the memorial, click "edit", then click the last option which lets you send a free form request. That sends me a link to the memorial, which helps ensure I process the correct one, and also sends me your member number so I don't have to go look it up. This saves me two or three steps, and helps me be accurate.

Excluding my own kin and special memorials, all of my memorials are up for grabs. If you are kin, you should have them imo. If no kin comes forward, then anyone who has a connection. Maybe you live next to the cemetery? Maybe you went to school with him/her? Maybe I have one of your old co-workers. You get it :) Just ask!

If you are also adopting out your memorials, I would happily adopt any of my family surnames in the United States: Claussen, Crawford, Fox, Pennington, Petersen; and in Germany: Claussen.

Thanks, and may God bless you immensely today!
Deb

This is the day the Lord hath made. I will rejoice and be glad in it! (and not spend the whole day working on findagrave! LOL )

RE: John Leroy Hansen
It is a very small cemetery and doesn't have an office. John Leroy is on http://iowagravestones.org/gs_view.php?id=952342. You may want to email the coordinator to see if she knows if he has a stone now.

RE: Confusion on last name
Deb, actually I had never checked William Forson's death cert. That is a strange one. I noticed the census records have either Forson or Forsen. I can see that a census taker might think Forcess would be Forson or Forsen. Is it possible a mistake was made on their stones?? If William had changed the spelling, would see no reason why the original spelling would need to be used on the DC, unless is was a legal thing. I noticed a gr grandson provided the pic posted on Virginia's memorial, just wonder if Linda Hastings knows how to contact him. Afraid I am not of help. Virginia is not in my direct line, but would be interested in knowing what you might learn. Thanks. Louise

forcess
I take care of Zimmerman Cemetery and just checking why I cant find him. The stones for his wife and him have the spelling as Forsom. I am not sure why all of it is there but sounds like they need to be combined. Birth and Death dates are the same.
