Bio Photo Hello fellow find-a-gravers,

Just found this wonderful artist and his touching rendition of Lord I need You! If you have a minute and a decent internet connection... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LuvfMDhTyMA&feature=share

Now back to findagrave business...

To request transfer, please do not post your request here in the comments section. I ask that all transfer requests be made through the official "suggest a correction" mechanism. Just go to the memorial, click "edit", then click the last option which lets you send a free form request. That sends me a link to the memorial, which helps ensure I process the correct one, and also sends me your member number so I don't have to go look it up. This saves me two or three steps, and helps me be accurate.

Excluding my own kin and special memorials, all of my memorials are up for grabs. If you are kin, you should have them imo. If no kin comes forward, then anyone who has a connection. Maybe you live next to the cemetery? Maybe you went to school with him/her? Maybe I have one of your old co-workers. You get it :) Just ask!

If you are also adopting out your memorials, I would happily adopt any of my family surnames in the United States: Claussen, Crawford, Fox, Pennington, Petersen; and in Germany: Claussen.

Thanks, and may God bless you immensely today!
Deb

This is the day the Lord hath made. I will rejoice and be glad in it! (and not spend the whole day working on findagrave! LOL )

Tillie Johnston
Hi Deb,
Thanks so much for your many contributions to the Find a Grave community!
I have been researching Tillie Johnston & see that she has 2 cemetery records. The one at Langley cemetery is correct. I have verified it with family records, the headstone at Langley Cemetery and the cemetery book at the Leavenworth public library that shows burials at the local cemeteries.
Would it be possible for you to delete the record at Kickapoo as she is not buried there.
I am however still searching for her husband John H. Johnston & their son Andrew. If you or anyone has information on him, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much!

FAG--incorrect cemetery
Need your assistance. I maintain four graves at a cemetery in Cameron, MO. The cemetery I'm referring to is the Graceland Memorial Cemetery. The family name is CONNELL. I have been informed this family is not buried in this cemetery but one next to it which is called Graceland Cemetery. Can you make the change or suggest to me how it can be done?
I'm contacting you as it appears you are the one who established the four memorials on 3-4-07. Thank you for establishing those memorials. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. By the way, Owen and Mattie Connell are my grandparents. Thanks.

RE: Hess & Olds transfers
You don't know how rare kind people like you are. I struggle to get my own family with my maiden name from someone here in Ohio where I live. I am always afraid to even ask, because I have been turned down so many times. My Mom always taught me "random acts of kindness", on my bio, this wonderful man contacted me about an entry I had, He asked about the parents of this man, I didn't know the person personally, but he gave me info of who he was looking for, so I went and found his dad, and his Mom, the only thing was I knew where the Dad was buried, but not the Mom, so I entered them both, and transferred all 3 people to him, and he was so thankful, and I told him to put in a picture request for them, cause someone would probably get there before me, he did, and I think it took a day, and someone had done the pictures and entered them, He put a message back on my bio page, and thanked me for all I did, I told him I love to help people, I always believe in do unto others as you want done unto you, my Mom passed away 5 years ago, but I feel I carry on her legacy, by helping people. Okay, now I am crying, it is a pleasure to meet wonderful people like you, and I always pay it forward, that is just me. I find great joy in helping others, and when I meet a "rare" person like you, I always want you to know how much it means to me for all your generosity. You are a wonderful, kind person, and I think sometimes we forget to let someone know how much their "random acts" of kindness mean to someone like me. You are the best!! God Bless!!

RE: Hess & Olds transfers
Thank you again so much, you are one of the rare "kind" thoughtful people that truly know what Find a grave is all about. Thank you for your kind offer, as I go through Ancestry and my tree, I will keep you in mind. If you find anyone I have that you might know, (other than my family), I will be happy to transfer to you. I am overwhelmed at your generosity. You actually brought tears to my eyes, when you transferred the Hess and Olds Family. Your kindness means more to me than you will ever know.
God Bless You !!
