RE: Vaught photos
Hi Jeanean,
Thank you for permission to use the photos :) We live close. I live in Ramona. Imagine that. What DAR chapter do you belong to? I am a member of the Leticia Coxe Shelby chapter in El Cajon. I don't go to meetings or participate because I'm too busy with genealogy. But, I'm sure proud to be a DAR member.
Sincerely,
Diane

Vaught photos
Thank you so very much for the pictures of the headstones for the Vaught family at Sears Cemetery. They are related to me via Mary's father, who is my 6th great grandfather. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it.
Can you please let me know your policy on using the photos for personal, non-profit use?
Sincerely,
Diane

RE: John Edward Krieger
Jeanean, thanks, I will link them to his parents and as far as they are concerned at this time I do not need to manage their memorials. you have done such a good hard job of finding distant relatives and have such a large data base that I feel it is good to keep them all with you for now. It has been a while since I worked on any of them that I am not sure what I do have on my findagrave. I will get busy and enter what I can and will then be able to answer that question.

Lots of love, Joyce

John Edward Krieger
Hi Jeanean, I just found out that my grandparents are buried in Redding Memorial Park, Shasta County, Ca.
I have made memorials for John and Susan. I do not have pictures but hope to. Also will put bios with.
Thanks for you're patience.

callie webb
Oral family history says that Charlie and Callie had a "household" full of kids. There are only 2 sons listed on here. Do you know of any others? Charlie is the brother of my grandmother, Florine Webb McIntyre. Thanks!

Cooksey inquiry
Hello,

This is a strange request. But, I just had a DNA match come in today for a Cooksey who descends from Norton Cooksey. He's a rather significant match since he also matches our dad's 1st cousin.

I emailed him using the email address he provided, but it bounced. I hate to see anyone test and never get their results.

When you answer this message, I'll leave you my email address, and then delete it.

Minnie Lorain Cox Cooksey
Minnie's mothers name was Frances Kate Head Cox Cooksey. Minnie's sister was Gertrude Cox.
"Kate" was married to Richard Aubra Cox and had Minnie and Gertrude, Richard died Sept 22, 1922 and is buried at the Jester Cem. After Richard died Kate married John Cooksey. So John did not adopt Minnie or Gertrude so there names would be Cox. Gertrude was married several times, Alvie Turbiville (sp?) then Chester Akins and then I believe when Gertrude died in Ok city her name was Wilson?
Kate was born in Alabama or Arkansas?? I don't remember it, it has been a while since I have been looking. My mother and her twin sis were taken in by john and Kate when they were abt 6 after there mother died so I guess you could say they were foster children. Gertrude was still at home at the time and of course Minnie passed before then.
Just FYI
