Can you provide a higher resolution image of Alfred Martin's headstone or a transcription? It's a little difficult to make out the details. appears to have "M" middle initital, also unclear on "aged XX + years". If this is the Alfred M Martin I suspect, I am his 2nd great grand nephew and still live in Limestone County, AL where he was born. Recently discovered and am preserving his parents' grave site. Just building the family tree.

Could you please share references indicating Nancy, wife of Catlett Rhoades, parents of Archilles Rhoades, buried at Salem Church, was the daughter of George Rhoades? George Rhoades died in 1842 and his will clearly lists 9 children, of which none of them are listed as Nancy. Catlett and Nancy are both alive and well in 1850 and neither are heirs to George Rhoades' estate. Catlett Rhoades is the nephew of George Rhoades by his brother Richard. George and Richard married sisters, Nancy and Lucy Wright, and the lines in research do get tangled with similar names. Thank you so much for your help.

Just wondering if you're any relation to Amelie Edgerton Marshall or know anything more about her. Thanks!

I saw a older token you left Jennifer and it made me cry... not sure why I hadn't seen it before but thank you... Yes, Jennifer is holding Frankie... Maybe he's growing up now or maybe he will be a baby forever... or until the rest of his family comes... It will be awesome eventually to know what's happening in the most perfect place. Thanks for all the tokens you leave not just for Jennifer but for everyone... Have a blessed Christmas...

Is the birth date on her memorial correct or the date on the headstone? If you look at the picture of the headstone, or better yet, the headstone picture of Andrew Jackson Wattles #9906035 it seems to list another birth date for her.
Also, are they married?
Thank you very much
I just wanted to let you know that I sent a email to you with a photo that I tried to repair.
Hello! You left me a message several months ago saying that you had found some photos on ebay that you thought belonged to one of my family lines, and asked me to write to you on Facebook. I left you a message there but never got a response. Your original message to me is still available on my profile here if you want to review it. Hope to hear from you!

Thank you for the memorials and the pictures.

Hi - as you have listed she is still alive - Johnny died much earlier.
Her name is spelled Maizie McCord
wow - really unexpected - I was looking for a Maizie who married William Wharton Smith (he was born 1919 and died 1994)but his Pennsylvania army burial pre-planned for Lincoln Cemetery in Franklin County, PA is listed as unused - I am calling the Franklin County Historical Association tomorrow.
But here I come across Maizie McCord Smith who I just talked to yesterday. She is doing pretty well and you can erase this after you fix her name - I was just so surprised !!
