Bio Photo ~Dear Ancestor~

Your Tombstone stands among the rest
neglected and alone.

The name and date are chiseled out
on polished, marbled stone.

It reaches out to all who care.

It is too late to mourn.

You did not know that I'd exist.

You died and I was born.

Yet each of us are cells of you
in flesh, in blood, in bone.

Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
entirely not our own.

Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
one hundred years ago, spreads out among the ones you left who would have loved you so.

I wonder if you lived and loved.

I wonder if you knew, that someday I would find this spot, and come to visit you.

Angels In The Stars

Sara Manis

God saw I was getting tired
as he put his arms around me
as he whispered come with me

There is a place for you in heaven
where there is no suffering and no pain
all you have to do is look up to the sky
and know that you will see me

As I am an angel in the stars
what a great place to be
I am an angel of God and a
sparkle I shall be

Know that I'm watching over you
just look up and see
I'm looking watching over you
please don't be sad for me

I'm your angel in the stars
where I am happy now
you will see and one day
you will be with me

The web page is dedicated to my sister.

No, I don't know specifically where in Iowa he was born, only the state of birth is listed.

Good luck in your search efforts!

Hello Snowgirl,
Sorry for my belated reply but I work a lot. It is my honor to visit your beloved Dad. Your name and your sponsorships - so I found his memorial:) I hope it is all right for you? Greetings from Germany - Maja.
