|I've been working on my Family history since I was 11 years old. I started this because of a homework assignment and became hooked when Grandpa explained that he was Grandma's third husband. I had no idea! |
I've used this site for a long time, gleaning little tidbits of information that I needed. Then it occurred to me that I may have information that someone else needs so I should give back. I signed up as a member and I've been adding my little tidbits as I find them. I hope it helps someone.
UPDATES ON MY PROJECTS!
I have photo documented the Stafford Memorial Gardens up through last summer (2012) so now we just need to keep up with the new additions. But there are hundreds of unmarked graves in that cemetery.
I have taken all photos for the AMAA Cemetery in Brooke, Stafford/Fredericksburg, VA. All names and photos have been entered as of June 2013.
I have completed the photos for Rodef Shalom Cemetery in Cardiff, NJ. I will be entering those as I can. There are over 4000 photos so it may take me most of the winter to get them all entered!
I have taken photos of about 1/3 of the Beth Kehillah Cemetery in Cardiff, NJ. I have completed adding the photos that I have until my next trip. (Except for the ones that need translating from Hebrew to English.)
Also, if I claim a photo request for an area not local to me don't panic. It means that I was there and already have the picture and I will upload it once I return home from my travels. Along those lines - when I am traveling I may let you know that I have claimed one of your photo requests. If you will go ahead and request the rest of your family in that cemetery it helps because if I am running out of time, memory space in my camera, or battery I will try to concentrate on requests that have been made. :)

Thank you for the transfer.
|Benae Williams||Charles Michael Bloodworth|
Thanks for the info on Mr. Bloodworth. I didn't notice another memorial because the oldest memorial doesn't use his given name. He is referred to as Mike. I have deleted mine. Sorry for the error.
Blessings to you and yours!
Thank you so much. We have been looking for my husband's great grandmother's burial site for a long time. Her birth year is about 1885
I will send additional information about other family for her headstone soon.

|Gina Coco||Leonard Marcus|
Thank you so much Carol!! Gina
|Gina Coco||Leonard Marcus|
I've done extensive research on the Marcus line (originally surname was Motulska a few generation back in Poland). I have a bit of a brick wall with Leonard's living relatives and I need to try and get in touch with them. This seems to be the right Leonard, based on the parents. Do you have any obit info or any direction you can send me in?
Thank you so much for any help you can offer:)

Thank you for taking the time to photograph his gravestone.
|Leslie Toole||RE: Morris Brown|
How did you find the names of the children?
|Leslie Toole||Morris Brown|
Thank you for listing and having a picture of the grave of Morris Brown. He is buried in Beth Kehillah Cemetery in Atlantic County, NJ. His children are listed. Are You related?
Thank you for the information Carol! I will look up that book. Funny you should mention Cummings family. My husband's great grandmother was a Cummings from Indiana and later Tennessee. She married a Gregg. Small world! Again thank you so much for posting the memorial and the information. Have a great day!

|duck77||Re: Alansng Wyant & Amelia|
I was wondering if you are researching Alansing Wyant and his wife Amelia (Lueck) Wyant or if you have any more information about them? I was surprised to see they are buried in Canada as I have been looking for their place of death/burial for quite awhile now. Alansing was married to Gena Martenson first. His second wife was Amelia Lueck. They lived in Lincoln Co., Wisconsin and Amelia worked as a housekeeper for my great grandparents for awhile. After my great grandmother died and Amelia's husband, Alansing, died she married my great grandfather, William Wyatt Vickery. After William died, family lore says she went to Canada, but I have not found any more information until now. With not very common names, I suspect these two are the same as the ones in my family. Alansing had a couple of sisters that also married into my family. Thank you for any information and I am willing to share information if you are related.
