Hello, members. My name is Shirley Rose. I joined this site to pay tribute to my loved ones. It's been a blessing for me to visit other virtual graves in addition to my own family's. I've been moved by the tributes given by those who've lost loved ones, and by the caring messages left. I believe we take comfort in them.
I am one of three children born to Thomas Jefferson Clark, & Esther(Messner) Clark. Both of my parents have passed on; my father in 1962 when I was thirteen years old. That was especially rough for our family. My mother passed away in 2001 when she was 83. Even though it was expected, that, too, was difficult for us to accept. We miss her dearly. My brother, sister and I were blessed to have had loving and caring parents.
I have been happily married to my husband, Eric, for 25 years. Together we brought five children into our marriage, and those children gave us nine grandchildren. They are all so special to us. We live near Sandpoint, Idaho, and love this beautiful country of ours.
I would love to have visits to my virtual cemeteries. I will be adding more names and bios.
Thanks, and many blesssings to you all. This is a very special community of people.
Thank you to all who have visited my loved ones. It means so much to me.
I want to give a BIG THANK YOU to God's Special Angel, who so graciously sponsored both of my parents' memorial pages. Thank you, Linda; it means a lot to me.
related? Hi! I tried to send you an email, but it bounced, so I'm going to try here. I noticed you left virtual flowers on my great grandmother's memorial and was wondering if you are possibly related? Find A Grave Memorial# 6017712
Hannah Wetmore On April 7, I looked in the Washington Street Cemetery (Middletown, CT) and found a large table-style stone for Hannah and Seth Wetmore. Made of brownstone, the lettering is worn and difficult to read, exacerbated by lichen growth on the stone, so it was difficult to discern date of death. If this is the correct person, let me know and I'll post a photo of the gravestone.
James Issac Clark I found the Clark site interesting. My great-grandfather Hamilton Russell married Rosa Lee Morgan Clark. I did correspond with James Clark in Marysville, CA., but have not heard from him recently. I do have the original pictures of James Clark and Martha. Hamilton and Rosa moved to Colorado sometime. Rosa helped raise my grandfather's family after his first wife died. My grandfater's name was James O. Russell. My name is James R. Russell.
BEST BIO's - How Do You Create Links? Your BIO's are the best I have seen. Made me wonder how you created the links to other FindAGrave listings from within the BIO's. Would you be so kind as to provide an example? I am very computer literate so don't need a bunch of details. Just get me pointed in the right direction. I am familiar with how to do this in Microsoft Word. Maybe you created a document and then uploaded? My email to you failed to deliver.
