|Bio and Links|
San Diego has some of the best Find a Grave contributors who are doing an amazing job of documenting our local cemeteries. If you need a grave photo there is no shortage photo volunteers. If you are looking for an obituary, cemetery information or advice we have volunteers happy to help you. |
If you are new to Find a Grave and want to start contributing in the San Diego area please read the FAQs or reach out to someone with your questions.
Please always do a search before creating a new memorial
Links, Corrections and additional information
Please use the edit tab and I will be happy to make corrections, add links and additional information. Do not leave information you want added on this page.
Note: Abstracted lists (such as census, death index, etc.) should be formulated into complete sentences prior to submitting for addition to the bio.
Copy-and-paste census, military and other data is not a "bio". Please don't send these type of bios because they will not be added.
This is Find-a-Grave, we find graves, so please, if the memorial doesn't have a grave photo, request one prior to asking for a transfer.
I'm pretty liberal when it comes to transfers, however too many times I have transferred and nothing is added or changed. So if you want a transfer, please:
1. Post any family photos (if you have them)
2. Provide me with family links and biographical information you wish to add to the memorial.
3. Tell me your exact relationship
I will not make a transfer if you create excessive memorials with unknown burial locations.
Please be a Find a Grave contributor, not just a collector of someone else's work
✔ PLEASE NOTE!!! Do not move your Burial Unknown into the correct cemetery based on the information you found from my memorial & then demand that I delete my duplicate.

On Joe's memorial page you left a token saying, "In Memory of a distant cousin." Joe is my father. I would love to know who you are and how we related? Please go to my contributor page and you will find my email address. Please email me as I would love to connect with you. Thanks, Maurene

I would really appreciate the transfer of the memorial for my grandfather (Walter G. Bilto) to me. I have information to add to his memorial. His Find A Grave number is 105744062. My contributor number is 47580724. Thanks, SDHD

I have those days a lot! Mainly before morning coffee kicks in (or when an afternoon cup is needed) ;)
Thanks for all your work!

Thank you for adding it! I believe you should have an edit linking him to his parents. I sent it to you right after the obit.
But in case the net gods have lost it:
I believe at least one of his wives are in the same cemetery, forgot to look for the other one.
Thank you again for the addition, I love it when we can link families (especially all the way across the country)

OMG is that Laurie Sawyer Ross still bugging you about the transfer she wants? She is soooo irritating I cannot believe it. Someone wrote to her when they saw my comment to her and felt sorry for her, I guess. lol. Then she wanted their memorials too. He changed his tune. You should read her messages to me, and those she has received. She still has only put in 1 person and manages 29 now. 28 Fools.
Glad to help. There is an Albert Horning 1835-1908 also buried in the Arend family plot. Also the burial records show that Clarence Arend (who died 7 Jul 1948) was reinterred in Oak Forest Cemetery in Chicago - in case you are looking for him.

#114264449. I have received her death cert from state of CA. Confirmed her parents names and that she is a distant relative. I have submitted 3 edits. Not necessary to transfer, just hope to have her linked and additional info added to her memorial. Thanks, Carolyn.
