I am a native of Colorado and the third generation native of Coloradoans following my father and his father, and also my mother and her father! |
My husband and I have 5 wonderful children and 7 beautiful grandchildren.
I worked for 17 years with TEEN PARENTS and their children. It is my passion, my purpose in life. I love them all, although now I am retired!
I was raised a Christian and knew Jesus at a young age I am in God's word and I am working with children to prevent biblical poverty.
Praise the Lord!
When I was 6 years old, my only sister died at the age of 14. It was the worst thing that could happen to a family.
I Lost my father on 9/11 it was a difficult thing to live through and losing Mom, well a person is never ready to give up your Mom.
Then the loss of my oldest brother was devestating. My hear is broken.
Please stop and visit my sister DONNA LEA SHIMPFKY, and my father H. LESTER SHIMPFKY, my mother THELMA SHIMPFKY and my dear brother RICHARD LESTER SHIMPFKY.
Any flowers and messages are very much appreciated!
To God be the glory!
THIS IS A CEMETERY
Lives are commemorated, deaths are recorded, families are reunited, memories are made tangible and love is undisguised. This is a cemetery.
Communities accord respect, families bestow reverence, historians seek information and our heritage is thereby enriched.
Testimonies of devotion, pride and remembrance are carved in stone to pay warm tribute to accomplishments and to the life; not death, of a loved one. The cemetery is homeland for family memorials that are a sustaining source of comfort to the living.
A cemetery is a history of people,
a perpetual record of yesterday and a sanctuary of peace and quiet today.
A cemetery exists because every life is worth loving and remembering, always.

|nancy robison||RE: hello,|
Hi! I don't have the resources, just a lot of time. Good way to use all the hours after work and days off. If I had resources, I'd retire and just do genealogy. But that just isn't going to happen.
Hi, looking for burial location for all soliders of Company C, 73rd Illinois Inf in the Civil War. Do you have any information that your GGG grandfather ever served with Company C, 73rd Illinois Inf.

Sorry, I had 1750, not 1850, but changed it to 1751, which is what I have in my records. Typo!
So it appears we are 1/2 cousins.
BTW, Daniel has a memorial also, but the monument has him born in 1750, not 1760. Wellington Graveyard, NY. It is a city memorial, not sure F.A.G. has it.
I can post the photo so you can see it, to research where he is.. I can't find a Wellington Cemetery on F.A.G, maybe new?? Rodman, Jefferson, NY
I come from a long line of Rhode Island Seamans, also spelt Simonds, Simmons, Symonds, etc. I wonder if we are related more than once..LOL.
Joining D.A.R. was not my original intention, I was just trying to get Welthan's maiden name changed from the notorious "Mumford" to Reynolds. And found out that Freelove Reynolds, John Kenyon's 1st wife, was actually Freelove Allen, not Reynolds.
Genealogy has been an intriguing journey.
John Reynolds never married Phebe Tillinghast, one was much too old, the other was already married to Jeremiah Hazard, per the Tillinghast Family Assoc. But Phebe is recorded in Books as the mother of Phebe and Welthan. Actual records show otherwise.
Doing genealogy is like reading a historical novel, filled with mystery, intrigue and suspence. Love it!
Wish I could retire and just do genealogy.

Transfer done. Thanks for asking. Better to have him with a friend than a stranger. Debbie J.
|Jerre Robertson||RE: Hello|
How exciting to make your acquaintance. I am sending a reply by email so please look for it. However, briefly here is my husband's connection to John Robertson:
John Robertson was married to Rebecca Teague and they had six children. Rebeccas Teague Robertson died in NC and then he married Sarah Woolen.
John and Rebecca's son, Elijah Robertson married Mary Harrington; their son, Benjamin Franklin Robertson married Lucy Belle Rice in Buchanan county, MO. Benjamin and Lucy Belle Rice Robertson's oldest son was James Henry Robertson, his son was James Leo Robertson (he went by Leo); his oldest son was James (Jimmy) Edward Robertson who was my husband's father.
More details to follow in my email to you. By the way, you have LOTS of cousin in Missouri!
Summaries: John Robertson>Elijah>Benjamin>James (Jim) Henry>James Leo>James (Jimmy)>James Michael (my husband).

How is John Robertson (1775-1845) your 5X great grandfather? He is also my husband's 5X great grandfather. Please drop me a note. We would love to hear from you.
Many direct descendants of old John Robertson and both of his wives still here in Missouri!

|Michael Rhudy||RE: Hello,|
I linked Rev. Stephen R Rhudy Find A Grave Memorial# 54438633 to his parents George # 29563449 and Maria Catherine # 29563461. I looked at some of the other children to make sure they were linked. On Peter Spangler Rhudy # 99426095 it looks like you have a duplicate for George Rhudy and Maria Catherine Spangler enter.
I have sent you edits through the edit function on these three.
