Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Australia and have just seriously started to get involved in geneaology. most of my ancestors came from the U.K, trying to find where they all ended up. I used to work in the building industry, now I am semi-retired. Enjoy music, fishing and the outdoors.

You have posted details of my 4xg-grandfather. I see you, like me, are in Australia. Do you have any further information or are you transcribing from databases?

If this is a relative of your I have a lot of information about George and his family.

RE: My ancestors
I live in Central Aberdeenshire so cemeteries around this area are accessible. Do you mean John Knox Churchyard in Aberdeen? Kilmacolm is on the west coast.
If I come across any of our Thomson/Noble names etc that you don't already have, would you want these transferred to you? Apart from family related graves, tend to take photos of those which are deteriorating or of local interest. Please email me if you want any further info.

Jack Kilby Memorial#51216699
Hello again Brett - In regards to my first communication of the 7th Dec:
Jack Kilby (Memorial#51216699)is the half-brother, not,as was shown, the son of Daniel Kirby who d.1957 (Memorial#49020720) - this Daniel being the son of Daniel d.1940 m1.1881 to Maria Rule, for whom I have created as Memorial#173559514 and linked them.
Jack is also the son of the same Daniel Kilby d.1940 (Memorial#51216658) but from his second wife Ida May nee Meers m. Feb 1918.(at this stage I do not know Ida's burial place, so cannot submit an entry).
I thought you would've made contact as there seems to be a problem with you changing Jack's parents, which I cannot understand, as you had already entered the notes from the cemetery listing:
"Note: son/Daniel & Ida M; acc. killed"
and thought the entry from Daniel's 1940 Obit would be a simple way to back that up.
Daniel had 3 sons from his 2m. to Ida May., also mentioned in my last email, and also taken from Daniel Snr's Obit, but which you omitted when you copied part of my email to Jack's memorial-
"He is survived by his second wife, nee Miss Ida Meers. of "The Pines," Collie and also two sons Messrs. George and Frank."
For further confirmation:
From the newspaper article 22 Feb 1934 regarding the Inquest held at Warren:
"....Daniel Kilby, retired grazier, residing at Narrabeen, stated that the deceased was his son, 15 years of age, and had finished schooling and was employed at Dick's Camp learning station work. He last saw the boy alive about the 9th or 10th of January....
and from NSW BDM:
Registration number 5303/1934
Father's Given Name(s) DANIEL
Mother's Given Name(s) IDA M
District WARREN
I am more than happy to confer as offered in my first email, and I would much appreciate you making right Jack's placement in the family.
With kind regards

Peter Dwyer
Hello Brett,
I'm fairly new to ancestry and find a grave site and I'm not sure how this site works.
I'm researching Peter Dwyer and I came across your link in 'Find a Grave'while researching Peter Dwyer. You mentioned that he is buried with Ann Dwyer. Do you have photos of their graves or do you go through the cemeteries and transcribe whats on the plagues.
