|Claudia (Virgil) Harris||RE: Ladouceur Connection|
Walter - Odilon, son of Emanuel & Clothilde, was married to my grandfather's sister Effie Virgil. She died in 1934 and is buried in my hometown of Midland, Michigan. I've been researching the Ladouceur family to find out what happened to Odilon after Effie died. And to make sure of the proper spelling of this surname. When Michigan posted more death certificates online I found his and called the cemetery listed on the death certificate to verify he was buried there. I truly hope I have the family listed correctly in my Family Tree. :) Claudia

Good Morning Walter. Thank you VERY much for the photos taken of the Ladouceur grave markers!!! I sincerely appreciate the time you took to visit the cemetery, take and upload the photos. Since I live in Kansas (originally from Michigan) it really adds to my genealogy records and family research. Have a great weekend!!
Thanks again, Claudia
No, sorry I'm not related to Joseph LaCroix. I have a picture of my grandmother standing on Water street. In the background is a picture of your families pharmacy. I posted on the Find A Grave memorial for your view. Just wanted to pass on the picture in case you didn't have any pictures.

Doing research on my family in Bay City. Are you related to the LaCroix family that lived in BC and had a pharmacy?
Thanks for your response.

|Thomas Ladner||Re: Martin S. T. Crampton|
Based on my Experience of Photographing several hundreds of Headstones. Have seen many who have been inscribed. Example 1921 for the Birth when the Birth was actually late in 1920 etc. They kind of Round off the Year...
I just went to Familysearch.org & what do I find? Two separate entries for Martin S. T. Crampton.
Given Name: Martin
Birth Date: 19 November 1920
Social Security Number: 370-16-5467
Last Place of Residence: Midland, Midland, Michigan
Previous Residence Postal Code: 48640
Event Date: June 1979
Martin S Crampton
Michigan, Death Index, 1971-1996
birth: 19 November 21
death: 1979 Midland, Midland, Michigan
residence: 1979 Midland, Midland, Michigan
It boils down to a Judgement call.
Even with some Roselawn Cemetery Headstone Snapshots and comparing them all with the Obituary Index information. I've seen typo's when also noticing something not right! So, I check familysearch.org and know some Online Obituary Index information is in Error.
I'll correct this to 1921. Though, would love to see the Actual Certified Death Certificate. Though, it must be Shared by a Family Loved one. :) This is about the Best I can do!!!

I received several requests from you to add obituary information to some of the memeorials I created.
If the obituary is added to the memorial record, it should list the newspaper and date the obit was printed for example "Published in the Hattiesburg American, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Internet Edition, April 11, 2007".
