Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Gadsden, Alabama, in 1981. I currently live in Bettendorf, Iowa, with my wife Cheri, my little girl Chiane, my monster boy Ian, and a disabled dwarf hamster named Ginny. I'm an amateur actor, and sometimes professional theatre technician. I'm an organizer and writer/director for "Forget-Me-Not: Victorian Day at Oakdale Memorial Gardens", a biannual living history event in local historic cemetery.

I'm also a genealogy buff, researching the following families:
Crow/Crowe, Couch, Oliver, West, Fenn/Fann, Humphries, Fleming, Scott, Petree/Petri, Mayer, Zimmerman, Smith, Sevier/Xavier Goode/Good/Goad, Ray, Henry, and McKeme (?) in the Southeast U.S. (AL, TN, NC, GA, VA, SC, AR) New England (PA, MA), England, France, Germany, Scotland, Ireland, and Spain.
Hatton, Doyle, Green, Fritsch, and Thomas in the Midwest (MO, IL, KY), Virginia, Ireland, and Germany.

I am Russ's County Keeper for Scott County, Iowa.

I am also willing to do genealogical research in Scott County, Iowa. E-mail me for info.

Davenport City Cemetary
Dustin,

I saw your map of the cemetery and wondered where plot 245 and 275 are on that map. Also could you please help me establish where the "potter's field" of the cemetery is located on the map.

I am looking for the surname of Horony.

Thank you in Advance!

PLAT MAP OF DAVENPORT CITY CEMETERY
HELLO THERE,

FIRST OF ALL, THANKS FOR ALL OF THE HARD WORK YOU DO IN HELPING PEOPLE FIND FAMILY MEMBERS....

FIND A GRAVE IS SOMETHING THAT I'VE COME ACROSS IN THE LAST WEEK OR SO, AND IS VERY ADDICTING. I WAS DOWN AT THE DAVENPORT CITY CEMETERY TRYING TO HELP OTHERS LOCATE HEADSTONES, THAT POOR CEMETERY IS SO OLD, AND A LOT OF THE STONES ARE HARD TO READ. I SEEN THE PLAT MAP YOU HAVE UPLOADED, IS THERE ANYWAY TO GET A LARGER/CLEARER COPY OF IT? IF SO PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

his wife, Ann Thomas (1766-1845

David Thomas (1790-1847)

Ann Mary Thomas (1824-1847)

Thank you!!
Thank you Dustin. That should just about complete them unless there are children there under their married names. Haven't looked at that yet. Working on my side of the family now.
Thanks again for all your help.

Thank you so much for the help. It took me 2 hours last night to plug them into my tree. It was so well worth it after trying for a year to find them. Thank you again!!!
