As a descendant of many of the memorials I have placed on Findagrave (FAGrv), I wish to foremost, honor their lives & memories by adding as much as I can to their pages.
As a dilettante genealogist I love to delve into family history.
My circle of family names include.
(All families living in New England
or with Northern US roots).
Parkinson, Allen, Batchelder, Bartlett
& Leroy (NY & New England)
Babcock, Clark, Tyrer, Knight,
Wilbur & Irish families (ditto)
Earl family of Western NY,PA & NJ
Waite & Buchanan
(Related to the Earl family)
Ahles, Warner & Reuter
(German immigrants to Western NY)

If you wish to add information or wish to have memorials transfered please use the
SUGGESTION LINK (SAC Suggest A Correction)

Findagrave has guidelines for transfers
(4 generations I think). I will gladly extend beyond the 4 Gen's if you are a serious researcher. Also I believe, that if you wish to honor a deceased distant relation (or a friend) than I will not stand in the way of your efforts.
Some people believe transfer requests should not be made for memorials of friends or for family surnames strictly for genealogical purposes. I don't buy this notion! I believe that genealogists help us as a connection between the living & the dead, distinguishing who we are & whence we came. So, if you are researching a family name & see that I have entered numerous surnames of interest, I would be happy to transfer the whole lot to you
(unless of course I am also researching the same name).
I would be be most grateful if other people would allow me the same courtesy. :^)

Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I am no longer able to do lookups & genealogical searches for other families research.
This also includes going to Libraries, Courthouses, & Cemeteries to search for records & tombstone information.

I will still make additions & corrections to FAGrv [only using the SAC's (Suggest A Correction) edit link]. When you SAC it is important to be signed on to Findagrave & if you are suggesting family links, please give the name of the person to be linked, their relationship & their memorial number (this makes the process so much easier :^). PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL ME DIRECTLY ASKING FOR FAGrv CORRECTIONS. Due to the large number of SAC's requests that I receive daily, It may take up to 30 days for memorials to be updated.
AGAIN, USE THE MEMORIAL EDIT/SUGGESTION OPTION for both updates requests and transfer requests. This provides me with both the memorial link and the link to your member number, and then I do not have to search for either item.
Requests left on my "leave a message" page will be at the bottom of my priority list. I am sorry for this inconvenience.

I will try to leave a message on the requesters FAGrv homepage when I have completed the task & I will also try to add data from SAC's to

I do have quite a collection of cemetery records & photos of burials in Concord, Collins & parts of Sardinia/ Boston/ Colden (Erie Co., NY) cemeteries.
I'm slowly adding these records to FAGrv & again as time permits.
My wife & I have submitted many of these records to the Town of Concord Genealogy Library aka

"The Lucy Bensley Genealogy Center"

located on North Buffalo Street in Springville, New York,
(PO Box 425)

North Otto Cemetery. Thank you for your prompt response to my photo requests. Your dedication and assistance is greatly appreciated. Wish I was able to make out the writing on stones for Elenor and Lizzie in order to give accurate dates. I'm just elated the stones were still standing after 151 years! Samuel Charlesworth is brother to my great great grandfather who made it from England to Otto, NY and buried in Topeka, KS.

Best wishes,

Sorry, I was wrong. It wasn't a death certificate that listed him in Liberty Park, guess what I pulled up was the info you added.

John Brooks (1811-1891)
John Brooks (1811-1891) is listed in two cemeteries, Saint Aloysius Roman Catholic Cemetery (Memorial# 15549720) and in Maplewood Cemetery (Memorial# 6448946) both in Springville, Erie County.

You have either posted one of the memorials, or added a photo to one of memorials, and I know it's been a long time, but can you double check and maybe clear up the situation?

Thanks for any help,
Tom Vought

George Hawkins and Betsey Cleveland
Thank you very much Thomas for helping find my 3XGr-Grandparents. My branch leading to me is George and Betsey's child Uriah Hawkins and then his daughter Ellen (Ella) Grauman nee: Hawkins who ended up in Canada. I would love to add more to my genealogy if you have information of these ancestors.
Thank you,
Shelley Ballinger
I have emailed you before but hadn't heard from you so I thought I would try again by leaving a public message.

Thankful Plumb Murray Cook
Thanks so much for all your postings!

You have Jonathan and Roselinda Murray's stone on Thankful Plumb's memorial...or maybe it just came out that way in my computer? It's definitely been that kind of week.

RE: Holy Cross Cemetery Gowanda, NY
Hi Thomas,

I do not want to go over your head and post for Pine Hill if you have already taken them all. I have currently 1,540 of Pine hill. If you have already completed that one too I will just let you add them?

My Best,

Mark Peebles

Holy Cross Cemetery Gowanda, NY

I just wanted to say thank you for all the information you added to this cemetery it made it a lot easier for me to transcribe the photos and I am happy to say through both of us this cemetery is as complete as it can be as of today. I have photographed every stone in this cemetery and started on Pine Hill next to it. unfortunately the people who take care of these will not help with any records.

Best Regards,

Mark Peebles
