I volunteer to walk the cemeteries in search of your loved ones because they tell the story of who you are and where you came from. I am not in this for the numbers.I do not want to keep someones family records and pictures, but long to return them to their families where they belong. |
I am happy to share and pass on any and all photos and information I collect. Feel free to use any photos I take for your own personal use.
Family names my cousin Nancy and I are researching are: Krebs, Willihnganz, Dawson, Jones, Keadle and Smith (from Maryland and Illinois),Hauber, Hahn and Kummerow,along with Bova, Mascari and Passafiume.
On my husbands side, Epping, Burrows, Shaw, LaVenture, Reddick,and Batson.

Thank you, Lisa, for trying to locate William's final resting place! Bummer that you didn't find one--but we both know that is not unusual in cases of old burials, as well as new ones!!! Appreciate your time!!! Pam
|Betty L. Schmidt||Thanks|

Thank you so much for the photos!

Graceland has no record of William, the cremations were for other Kummerows. Sorry if I confused things. Good luck with your search. Rosehill Cemetery is a large cemetery nearby you might check. Bob

I was just looking at the Laugh cemetery, going through old records and I see you have made pages for all that I see in the list, other than the Laugh related ones who I had done.
Just wanted to say what a great job you did.
I wish I knew more about the Laugh cemetery. I've been wondering about my Laugh line lately. (It is probably Lough originally.)
Anyway, thank you and for the pix you took, too.

Thanks for taking the Cornwell tombstone photos for me. I sure appreciate it.
|Jenny Hammis||Matilda Smith|
I too am looking up my family tree. Matilda Smith was my Great great great great grandma. My own Grandma could trace our tree back to Matilda, but could never get past her. So I was extra determined to find her family. I found a great website on Carroll County Illinois and that has provided a plethora of info for me! However no physical link to siblings or parents... until I cam across Frisbey's headstone! I found it and my Grandma is going to be thrilled!! I now know her parents and siblings names, as well her Mom's maiden name :) If you have anything further on this please get in touch with me somehow. I'd really love it.

I cannot believe how great this cemetery looks since I took the first pictures!! It is wonderful that someone stepped up and rescued it! Did you happen to take new pictures of the headstones? The ones I had taken were not that good due to light and the condition of the cemetery. If you have taken better ones, I will remove my bad pictures.
