I am the son of Harry R. Boileau and Sarah Louise Kilgore. My parents lived in Ainsworth, IA when I was born in 1944. At the age of 5 we moved to Washington, IA. I am a member of the Washington High School class of 1962. Served in the U.S. Marine Corps, Vietnam veteran. |
In 1968 I married Karen K. Deatsch, daughter of Romuald F. Deatsch and Gladys M. Kron, of rural Riverside, IA.
The names that I am researching for our family tree:
My paternal side:
Boileau, Smith, Vinton, Coen
My maternal side:
Kilgore, Wallace, Purvis
My wife's paternal side:
Deatsch, Birrer, Rummelhart
My wife's maternal side:
Kron, Kleopher, Kiefer
I happened upon Find A Grave when doing family research and found it to be a valuable tool. Also learning that volunteer work made it possible I decided to "pitch in." In addition, I also contribute to the Iowa Gravestone Photo Project. There is a great deal of satisfaction in honoring our predecessors. As a result I have heard from people across the country and enjoy helping them when possible.

Mr. Boileau, I would like to know if you are related to Eliza or her husband. They would be my Great Great Grandparents.
Thanks, Victoria Matthews
I am a Boileau too on the Paternal side. With help I created a great family tree on ancestry.com going back pretty far. I have even more info I did not put up yet. Most those Boileau's were in Michigan and French Canada though.

Thanks so much for helping me correct a duplicate memorial and relink the family members. The system works and is what makes Find A Grave such a great site. Thanks for your contributions to it.

Sorry for the very late reply on your request. Due to lack of time and so many requests it is hard to complete them all in a timely basis. Also I have been off line for a very long time due to personal reasons.
Thank you for the family connections for Donald Musser. I have made the connections for you.
I found a little bit of information for Donald on line and I have added it to his memorial.

Thank you for the picture on Rosie's page

Thank you for sending me Margaret Ponce's obituary. Finally got it posted on her memorial page. Keep up your good work in making it possible for the next generation to find information on their relatives.
Bill, I'm sure you don't remember me but I am Larry Van Winkle's youngest sister. I just want to thank you for posting our families headstones in Ainsworth. I was looking and saw that it was posted by you and instantly remembered you and Larry always together and with scouting. Again, I want to thank you for your work in this. Laura

Yes sorry too but my husband and I only went to the funeral home.

Thanks Bill, still plugging along :) I stopped into St. Vincent the other day and looked at your marker there, LOVE IT! The back is a genealogists dream!
