Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been researching my family since I was a teenager. Of course, my family lines have been little researched so it makes the work a little more challenging. But I like a good challenge. I volunteer to take pictures for Find A Grave in Fredericksburg City, Spotsylvania Co., King George Co., Caroline County, Stafford Co. and where else I go. My family surnames are: Reed (Reid, Read), Sells, Ashton, Smith, Greene, Roush, Bottorff, Sissell (Cecil), Sayres, Luker, DeHaven, Reading, etc. I research all the family lines. My family tree begins in Loudoun Co. Virginia. From there they moved to Ohio (Guernsey Co., Washington Co., Muskingum Co., Noble Co.). At this point 2 brothers leave Ohio when Oklahoma opens up to settlers (El Reno, OK). One of the brothers leaves Oklahoma and moves to Springfield, MO (Green Co.) and then finally staying in Howell Co., MO until death. According to one of the old history books, the Smith line was from Chester Co., PA. I found members of one line in Allegheny Co., PA and from there they went to Washington Co., OH. One Smith line moved to Grant Co., WVa and they died there. I have found documents (birth, death, marriage, & passenger lists) for the John Reading family. That line was originally from Wales. Still working on the rest especially the Ashton line.

RE: William Fletcher Turnley
Leslyn;
I do not know for sure that all of IOOF Evergreen Cemetery has been transcribed but I do think most if not all of the headstones have been photographed. It has been a couple of years since I was there and the Turney family is not part of my family. I will try and get back there this summer.
That said, if Fannie died before William then she very well could be buried in nearby Riggs Cemetery that is not maintained. Many graves there were never marked or the headstones are missing or now unreadable.
Also, there is a Fannie Lucettia Carroll Turnley # 74084115 in Riverside Cemetery in Spokane. She shares a headstone with Williams son James Hamilton Turnley and Mary Ella.

RE: Thomas Harris Lipscomb
The Holmes Cemetery is one of two cemeteries that I have been told that are located on the Jesse Head farm. This is now restricted property that is owned by BFI, and I have not been able to get access to try and find the cemeteries. Thomas Lipscomb is my 4th great grandfather. I was told that this is where he is buried, and that is why I added his name. I do not know how many people are in this cemetery, or what stones are in this cemetery. If I ever get access, I will photo all that is there and post them on F.A.G. I hope someone else will also post pictures and names if they manage to get access.

RE: Edward Banks
Hello the reference to a St Paul Church came from the sign that was found in an abandoned building next to it which I am now told has either been destroyed or collapsed all together. It is not a reference to any still existing church.

This is to let you know that the surname on this memorial is wrong. Ellsworth Sacrey should be Ellsworth ROACH.
Thank you for your research.
