My uncle is buried at the Babylon cemetery and I was trying to call to get the dates of his death. I have the year but I am creating a memorial page and wanted to get the dates of his birth and death BUT the Babylon cemetery is not answering. The phone would ring and then there was a blank with no voice. I am trying to call them but cannot get through.
Can you help me with these dates?
I have my uncle on findagrave but do not have the dates in question. How do I find out this information. He died in 1995.

RE: Cornelius De Waal
Thanks for all the help. Not sure about the confusion between Ethel and Eleanor. He is one of the brothers and sisters I have the least info on.

RE: Luciano Armando & Vincenza Costa
Thank you so much, Noreen. It was a long shot, but I hoped it might prove lucky. I know about the other brother and sister of Romolo Costa and have a lead on a grandchild of the daughter but nothing at all on the two brothers other than their birth and death dates and the names of their wives, but not if they had children. I will definitely give the Cemetery a call and hope that they may be able to help. Thank you for that phone number and the information. And, thank you for the work you do in recording the burials and posting them to findagrave. Everyone deserves to be remembered and findagrave gives a chance for those who may no longer have living relatives to be recorded and remembered--that is especially true for our soldiers and veterans. Hi Noreen,

It's really nice to hear again from you. Long time no talk. Hope things are well with you.

Thanks a lot for additional pictures. They're all related - Minnie and Lillian are sisters (Slater is the maiden name), June is Minnie's daughter. I just need to figure out who was June's husband, Nathan or Benjamin

Best,

Igor

Luciano Armando & Vincenza Costa
Hi Noreen,
I noted that you left a tribute on the memorials of Luciano Armando Costa and his wife Vincenza Costa buried at Long Island National Cemetery (memorials #82645272 and #150664993. I am wondering if you are related to the family or have further knowledge of the family?

I am a certified genealogist working with SNA International and the Department of the Army to identify family members of soldiers who went missing in WWII. My research shows that Luciano Armando Costa is the brother of missing WWII soldier, Romolo M. Costa. I have not yet been able to determine if Luciano and Vincenza had children. If you are connected with the family, could you tell me if they had children, and if so, what are their names and any other information you could provide?

You can learn more about our work at http://sna-intl.com/services/genealogy You can also view the website regarding repatriation efforts at http://www.dpaa.mil

As you may be aware, the U.S. government has undertaken an initiative to bring home and identify remains of US missing servicemen. As a result, the Department of Defense has embarked on a program to seek DNA family reference samples from qualified donors to aid in the identification process through including or excluding possible matches from recovered remains. The Army has lost contact with families of some missing servicemen and has contracted SNA Internationalís services to re-establish contact.

I can be reached at 1-704-283-7249 or by email at ccts2013@carolina.rr.com or cshsotts@sna-intl.com

Thank you for your anticipated cooperation in locating the family members of Technical Sergeant Romolo M. Costa.

Thanks,

RE: Lewis family
It appears that Charles H. Lewis' father way Hyman and his mother was Sadie ... (there are two Sadie's so I'm not sure which is his mom.

I've linked his Dad's record:
