Growing up, my grandparents lived next to a cemetery and I took many walks and bike rides through that cemetery. I find the cemetery a peaceful place to gather my thoughts and to wonder about the lives of those I pass. |
Over the past several years, I have been researching my family genealogy, and without the unlikely coincidences and kindness of strangers, I may not have been able to achieve what I have been able to. This is where F.A.G. comes in. I feel that I can possibly help others in their search, just as I have been so generously helped.
If you have any updates that you would like me to add to any of the memorials, just send me a suggestion via the edit tab and I would be happy to update it.
Will Transfer Outside Guidelines
If you want me to transfer a record, just let me know. I will be happy to transfer any record to you, with the exception of those that are in my family line.
If I have posted a memorial for one of your relatives, and you wish for me to take it down, please just let me know. I don't like taking memorials down because it may hinder the search of someone researching their family lines, but I certainly will respect your wishes.
I do transcribe cemetery directories, therefore, you will see many of my listings only have a date of death. This is all that is listed in the directory I am transcribing. If you have additional information for any entry, your help is always welcomed.

Oh, my, Shannon...awesome to MEET you, too! I LOVE that picture of your greatgrampa hoisting your gramma...never seen anything like that ~ LOL, he must've been so strong to not even look like he's flinching!
Your family name DeHaan also rang something in my head so I had to go back and research about Dr/Rev Richard DeHaan who had a radio program that was constantly heard in home...the Radio Bible Class with "Day of Discovery"...came from Grand Rapids, Michigan MANY years ago!
So thank you, and God Bless you, for your thoughtful words...and the memories you gave my heart ~ gotta go look up some more about Richard DeHaan...maybe find a picture ~ :°)

Thank you Shannon! I do appreciate the transfers and will let you know if I find anymore. I am the same way! Love to give memorials to family members...if they aren't already a part of my family.

Thank you for the offer let me think about it and if a family member contacts you please give it to them. Do you live in the area? Losing 2 small ones so soon together is tough on the families and the communities. Seems like we all knew him.
|Sherry||RE: M. Mildward|
Your welcome for the info, but you shouldn't post the family names unless you have permission from them, especially since this just happened.

Thank you for putting his memorial up. I just went to do it. Haven't seen him in a few years, but he holds a warm spot in our family.

|Mary Todd Johnson||scotty memorial pictures|
Just go to Google images, type Scotty' s full name and the pictures should come up. Once you got them, save them to a file under your picture folder on your computer. Then upload them to his memorial.
Good luck, Blessings
