Bio and Links
Bio Photo I enjoy helping others out. As well as working on my family history. If I can help in my area let me know. I will try to help get your photo and or obituary, if possible.

However, after going out of my way to get pictures and the such, I would appreciate it if Marcia would stop trolling the findagrave site and nit picking at my and "other" contributors work, effort and help. We are all adults, or so should be.

I am human and do make mistakes, just like the rest of us. (Whether some want to admit it or not is still out for debate. LOL)

If you find a problem, please be kind when asking for corrections to be made. Don't ASSUME that all the information on the memorial was made by me. You know the saying "DON'T ASSUME-it'll make an ass out of you!" LOL Most would agree that a polite contact is the best kind of contact.

In the event you find memorials that need to be linked. Please provide proof that it is husband and wife buried together. I've gotten wrong information. What a headache that was. So please provide proof. Thanks!!

Currently I am inputting information from cemetery books. I am not trying to have a bunch of memorials under my number WHO CARES???
What I care for is to list the forgotten, that didn't have a headstone or the headstone is missing for whatever reason. For those that are searching for loved ones. Not knowing where in the "county" they are resting. Since inputting the cemetery book info. I have had several people contact me because I had solved mysteries where their relatives are buried at. That has been rewarding. It trumps the "negative" ones.
So fellow findagravers, the cemetery entries are a great source for information, if you can't get out to cemeteries, entering from the cemetery books would be greatly appreciated.

Found this wonderful writing by: Thelma Greene Reagan.

Today we walked where others walked
On a lonely, windswept hill;
Today we talked where other cried
For Loved Ones whose lives are stilled.
Today our hearts were touched
By graves of tiny babies;
Snatched from the arms of loving kin,
In the heartbreak of the ages.
Today we saw where the grandparents lay
In the last sleep of their time;
Lying under the trees and clouds -
Their beds kissed by the sun and wind.
Today we wondered about an unmarked spot;
Who lies beneath this hollowed ground?
Was it a babe, child, young or old?
No indication could be found.
Today we saw where Mom and Dad lay.
We had been here once before
On a day we'd all like to forget,
But will remember forever more.
Today we recorded for kith and kin
The graves of ancestors past;
To be preserved for generations hence,
A record we hope will last.
Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend,
For stones sometimes crumble to dust
And generations of folks yet to come
Will be grateful for your trust.

God Bless America!!!

Orval Bailey
I saw the wonderful pictures you added to Orval and Anna Bailey's memorial pages. I just added their daughter Mamie I. Darnell on Findagrave.

If she is family I thought you might want to know.

Have a great day,

RE: James Stark #118619871
Thank you for contacting me. All sides of the headstone were disintegrating. I enhanced the photo and you can read the word wife, 11 May, Jan 1881. Her name is not readable. It was erected in 1893 so she may have already been buried with some of her children at St. Mary's. His biographies do not mention another wife. The family Bible has her name but no dates. Possibly the cemetery record was made when the headstone was erected with her name.

James H. Baldock #121019849
James H. Baldock is probably a brother to Richard Baldock. Richard's parents were John P. & Patsy (Riggins) Baldock. The initials J. P. & P. match Richard's parents' initials.

Thanks so much-
