For a loved Pet
RAINBOW BRIDGE author unknown

By the edge of a woods, at the foot of a hill,
Is a lush, green meadow where time stands still.
Where the friends of man and woman do run,
When their time on earth is over and done.

For here, between this world and the next,
Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest.
On this golden land, they wait and they play,
Till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day.

No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness,
For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness.
Their limbs are restored, their health renewed,
Their bodies have healed, with strength imbued.

They romp through the grass, without even a care,
Until one day they start, and sniff at the air.
All ears prick forward, eyes dart front and back,
Then all of a sudden, one breaks from the pack.
For just at that instant, their eyes have met;

Together again, both person and pet.
So they run to each other, these friends from long past,
The time of their parting is over at last.

The sadness they felt while they were apart,
Has turned into joy once more in each heart.
They embrace with a love that will last forever,
And then, side-by-side, they cross over… together.

UNFORTUNATELY I CAN NOT MAKE EVERYONE HAPPY ;( so
IF YOU SEE SOMETHING THAT YOU ARE QUESTIONING OR UNHAPPY ABOUT-PLEASE SEND ME AN EDIT ON THAT PERSON'S MEMORIAL PAGE OR ON MY MEMBER PAGE

SOME "RELATIVES" HAVE ME ADD SOMETHINGS TO MEMORIALS, WHICH OTHER "RELATIVES" DON'T WANT ON THERE OR LIKE.

I APPOLOGIZE-- WHAT I POST IS NOT MEANT TO UPSET ANYONE--MY INTENT IS TO FIND LOST NAMES AND LOST GRAVES, LOST INFO THAT MIGHT HELP TO PUT THE PIECES TOGETHER OF LIVES LONG GONE.

RE: Flower
Prairie bread...I don't but I can look. I have a lot of cook books passed down! That's what us LDS women are known for. Cooking of course. LOL Hopefully...I will look. :)

The SLC Temple is beautiful. They are just about done with the Temple where I live. I live just about 7 min south of it. I have a great view of it from the bench. It's the Payson Utah Temple. It's beautiful as well. I grew up near the Manti Utah temple. So to me, that one is special. ღ

RE: small world
Wow! Yes, Indeed a small world! I've been trying to find out myself why my G. Uncle never received any rewards? I've been looking into the Manila American Cemetery and Memorial Page here & have found many that were on his ship as well. They were all honored. I've made or still in the process of making the virtual cemetery for them.

My Grandpa nor his sister say they know nothing about what happened. They say I know more than them. Which is probably VERY true. Clay's sister Gerry is pushing 93 and Gramps is 88 & dying slowly of cancer. I don't want to share with them what I know because it's horrible. They as a family went through so much after loosing Clay. One Tragic event after another. Which continued till 1996. I think that is why they are quiet with family history. Don't need to be reminded of what the past has done. I'm thinking my G. Grandmother was so hurt by his loss she didn't want his medals. But I'm not finding anything online that he was even rewarded.

RE: re flower
Flower for Summer. Thanks! Yes she was. She had a portrait done her for our LDS Church but it was not published. Just for family. She was beautiful & very sad she left behind little Max who just turned 1 yr old! Utah is very beautiful! We have NO snow! It's been very warm! Weird weather here!

RE: Cordray
I have been unable to find Jeremiha's father so I have not been able to any farther back than him. There are a lot of Cordrey's and Cordray's from the area but I can not tie into a specific line.

I see you have been to Hollywood. Jeremiha is my 6 th grandfather. I have not been able to go any further than that with any certainty. I was hoping you could shed some light.

John W. Davis
I wondered if you might have any information on John W. Davis buried in Denton cemetery in Caroline Co., MD, or if you are related to him. He could very well be my g-grandmother's brother who seemed to disappear from census records after 1900 in Goshen, VA. His 1st wife had died in 1901 and he re-married. He had 3 sons, Frank E., Hugh B., and Marvin G. Davis. Frank and Marvin are both buried in Maryland. I will continue to research him and see if he is the right one. In the event that he is indeed my John Davis, would it be alright to transfer him to me?

RE: transfers
Thanks very much, Gennie. You're so lucky to have actual papers from someone. My findings have been almost exclusively from research. Twenty years ago, I did have a photo or two, and names of ancestors that were unique. Then, it was off to the very slow races. Pat

RE: Edits
You're welcome.

They are relatives. I would be happy to take over the memorials.

Thank you for all your hard work. It so helps connect the "dots."
