IN MEMORY OF 911|
When Tomorrow Starts Without Me...author unknown
When tomorrow starts without me,
And Iím not there to see.
If the sun should rise and find your eyes,
All filled with tears for me.
I wish so much you wouldnít cry.
The way you did today.
While thinking of the many things,
We didnít get to say.
I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you.
And each time that you think of me,
I know youíll miss me too.
But when tomorrow starts without me,
Please try to understand.
That an angel came and called my name,
And took me by the hand.
And said my place was ready,
In heaven far above.
And that Iíd have to leave behind,
All those I dearly love.
But when I walked through heavenís gates,
I felt so much at home.
When God looked down and smiled at me,
From His great golden throne,
He said ďThis is eternity
And all Iíve promised youĒ,
Today for life on earth is past
But here it starts anew.
I promise no tomorrow,
For today will always last.
And since each dayís the same way,
Thereís no longing for the past.
So when tomorrow starts without me,
Donít think weíre far apart.
For every time you think of me,
Iím right here in your heart.

I did request the record .... however Ancestory, not the US Veteran's Affairs, now does the work on these .... So when you sent the bio it was Ancestory staff that did the work .... :-)
All the Veteran's Affairs record have been turned over to Ancestory staff ....
Just to let ya know ... :-)

Thanks for the update my dear Gennie .... Nope, he died after World War I was over. World War I ended on November 11, 1918 .... Still a very nice find.
Just popping in to say hello. Miss you! Did the ancestryDNA and had a few matches with Prettyman cousins. I'm sure there are more but a lot of people don't have theirs linked to a family tree. Almost 14K cousin matches so it would take me forever to figure them all out. Going to email you and send you some pics when I get back from my anniversary trip.

This memorial is now GREAT! With three generations referenced, and an obit, AND that exciting description of the battle of Westminster. Thanks for all your hard work.

Gennie, thank you so much for adding the photo of the J.Roland Cochran family stone on Find A Grave.
What a lovely 9-11 poem, lost our next door neighbor in the Pentagon. Carolyn

Thanks Gennie. :-)
|Ron Vest||RE: Jackson|
Gennie Clayton's wife's maiden name is Oliphant, no children with name of Dennis, and also his mother's maiden name was Hill.
Don you have connections with the cemetery office? What I would love to have is a listing of all Jackson's buried there. I did check Find A Grave and some in my tree, however my tree at this point in only direct line ancestors.
Appreciate your time.
