Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been climbing around
on my Family Tree, swinging
on it's branches, and digging
at it's roots for over
30 years, (since 1975).
I have been widowed since 1991, retired in 2005.
I LOVE Find-A-Grave. It is a wonderful
asset to the genealogy world.
If I've created a record that someone
needs to correct, update or add
information, please let me know and
I'll be glad to add your information
for you;... or if the person is your
direct family member, and you would
like to have me transfer "ownership"
of that memorial page to you, please
let me know...If that person is not
related to me and they are directly
related to you; I will be glad to
transfer their memorial to you.
However, I want to note:
Nearly all of the memorials that I
have created are connected to my
family tree and are a result of a
lot of years hard work and research.

To all the members who have been
kind enough to transfer "ownership"
of my family members to me....
Find A Grave is one of my favorite
It has given me a place that I can
remember my loved ones and honor
their memory.

If you have time, please leave a flower
for my dear husband, Roy E. Hughes.

Hello again LoRetta,
Thank you for your generosity in transferring:

Lester E. Lawler
Loretta, I am the grandson of Lester Edwin Lawler # 16366883 and would like to know if you would please allow me to have management of his memorial. Several of his grandchildren, including myself recently were able to place a headstone on his grave at Fairmount Cemetery in San Angelo, Texas. He was married to my Grandmother Willie Lea Stewart Lawler. I would greatly appreciate this if you could do this for me. Thank you, Lester Van Huss #47859148

Old Shogaloo Cem
Just left this cemetery and Susans tombstone reads that she died in 1877 and was 67 years old. Stone reads Susan Armour Destervan [sic] w/o A. J. Destervan. Stone ingraver messed up I think and it should have read Festervan. Are you researching the lineage of Festervan?

Mary Winborn
Amanda and LB Ginty
I am Mary Winborn, great granddaughter of Amanda Sherill McGinty and Littleberry McGinty. He was mainly known as LB or Buck McGinty, never as Berry. My mom was Susie Hunter Winborn. Her mother, my grandmother, was Georgia Lee McGinty Hunter, daughter of Amanda and Buck. My understanding is that Amanda Sherril McGinty was born in England. My mother had some mittens supposedly crocheted by Amanda on the boat over. My second cousin's ( Michael Schreiber) wife has researched the family extensively here and in Europe. She has a site, that I am looking for again. Hope this helps.
