RE: Martha Staveley Rich Record
Hi Todd,
Thanks. That helps. Do you have a source on that Rich/Staveley marriage?
Thanks again, Stephen

Martha Staveley Rich
Hello Todd,
Can you explain what you mean by a "calculated relationship" for Martha Staveley with Edward Rich? Could this be a calculation that the 20 July 1626 marriage of Edward Rich and "matthew Staneley" at St. Giles Cripplegate might be a transcription error?
Is that the sourse of your calculated relationship?

I sent you an edit on him requesting you link his memorial to his wife. I believe he was married twice. The first wife is my relative. You will notice that two of the children with memorials were born after the death of Frances Dance. They and at least one other child, without a memorial, can't possibly be hers. I will continue to look and, if I find the other information on the second wife, named Margaret LNU,will let you know. Thanks for your time and your dedication. It is appreciated.

RE: Memorial #83012362
Thanks. Doesn't seem like they are in my line of family, but this was helpful to know where they fit in. I actually found the came across that cemetery Richard is in one day while driving past. Stones are in need of repair as one or both is laying on the ground

Do you know the memorial number for his son, or maybe his name?

Henry Netherton
Dear Todd-
I think I have found another daughter or granddaughter of Henry Netherton, whose grave site you entered on Find a Grave.

Frances Netherton married as his 2nd wife Isaac Lesesne of Carolina (Clute, Annals of St. Thomas and St. Denis 71). An undocumented source gives the marriage date as 30 Aug 1722 (Transactions 84: 141. They had at least three sons, Francis born 1727 (Her surname is given in his birth/baptism record), Peter George born 1731 and John.

Isaac Lesesne died in 1736, leaving a will which gives her first name. (Moore SC Will Abstracts I: 230.
Frances Netherton Lesesne was named in the a 1738 (which I am trying to find), but no record of her death has been found.
I will be glad to share the documentation with you. I don't know if there is any way to tell whether she was a daughter of the London blacksmith or of his son Henry, possibly by a wife in Carolina who died.
Hope this helps. Sincerely, Cheves Leland, Archivist of the Huguenot Society of South Carolina, 138 Logan St. Charleston, SC 29401
