The only accuracy that I can be sure of is that the headstone photo's I have put on Find A Grave are in the right Cemetery.

Donald Dean Abbey
Hi, Do you remember where you took the grave photo for Donald? I would like to get his burial location updated. Looks like this was a merge but the cemetery was left out. Thank you K.

RE: Ordie & Minnie Jones/Hanson
Because Ordie is an unusual first name I was able to search the Hutch News archives to narrow down the timeframe of the name change. He was referenced as Ordie Jones in July 1940 (altercation w his son-in-law) and then referenced as Ordie Hanson in August 1965 (wife's family reunion). So it looks like he changed it after 40-41 years of age. I like your potential explanation....it's definitely a mystery!

By the way, I also see that Laura's siblings, Fred and Nana Watson are also buried in the DeSoto, Kansas, Cemetery.

Laura Elmina Watson Miller
I recently received a message declining the addition of the parents of the above subject as they didn't match the information already posted. What do you have as the names of her parents? I am not sure how I arrived at these names - William Lewis Watson and Louisa Dicken Watson but they are buried in the Desoto, Kansas, Cemetery which is near where I live in Lawrence, Kansas. The Desoto Cemetery is also near where Laura was born. She married Edwin Alexander Miller. He is an ancestor of mine and the brother of my Grandfather who is also buried in the Desoto Cemetery. What can you tell me about this information?
