I'm entering memorial pages to remember those who have completed their journey here. I believe the Find A Grave burial registry helps us to preserve history and is an extremely useful genealogical tool. I especially love to hear from folks who have found a family member or friend through a memorial that I created, that gives real meaning to this work. If you have any corrections or additions to suggest on memorials that I have created, I will take care of them, usually within a week. If you want any records transferred to you that are not in my family, please do not hesitate to ask.

To my friends who have decorated the graves of my precious daughter, Tammy Jo Modglin, and my Mom and Dad, Dorothy Darlene Brown and Carmel Garth Brown, and my sister, Judith Ann "Judy" Brown, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your kindness is very much appreciated, as I decorate also for as many as I can, too.

God Bless All Of You...

RE: Mary
There is no actual rule about the new style edits, but admins recommend keeping it to 40 per week. I personally don't care since they are so easy to handle. You can send all you want to me. I accept the obvious ones and 'ignore' the others until I have a chance to follow up.

RE: George Sharp 69564691
Hi, Thank you for getting back to me. Do you have a copy of the cemetery transcript you can forward to me. bowers1201@yahoo.com. And yes, could you transfer him. I could not locate him on any of the census and wonder if he was living with a relative. Thank you again, blessings.

George Sharp 69564691
Hi Glenda, can you verify this name. I show that the Sharps had two sons one George and one Nelson Grant. I found it in A Twentieth Century history of Delaware county, Indiana by G W Kemper. Does the information you have actually list the name as George Nelson Grant? This is my fathers side of the family and I don't want to be searching for someone that never existed. Thank you

RE: Sarah Wilson
I hope that I am going to talk about the right Sarah Wilson here. A while back I added several people and updated information on lots more people here on findagrave. These are not relations of mine. I work at a library which was given several boxes of papers and items from the Robertson families of Charlestown and Deputy. The cemetery inscription lists in this collection were made in the late 30s or early 40s as far as I can tell. This woman was doing genealogy research on her family back at the turn of the century. From what I have read in her notes she actually went to various cemeteries to get this information herself. This is a typed list titled "Pisgah Cemetery inscriptions". So what is on it for Sarah A. Wilson, wife of Andrew J. Wilson, is born 7 Feb 1824 & died 1 Dec 1902. That is greatly different then what is already on findagrave. I don't think she died in 1858 because she is on the 1860 and 1870 census with here children. Her husband died in 1859 so he isn't on those census records. Like I stated earlier, this isn't my family. I am sharing information I found. And like anything it could be wrong. But comparing other data on these lists to what is on findagrave her lists have been pretty accurate. I hope this helps. :)

Alois Wilhelm
Glenda,
You have a memorial for Alois Wilhelm (101120337). I wanted to know where you got the birth date from to verify. I have a relative same name, from that area, but his birth date is 9/8/1866 instead of 1856 which you have. I know my date is accurate because of church baptism records. I'm trying to figure out if this is the person I'm looking for.
Thanks,
Joan

Hope Rowe Thomson #138338412
Hope's parents were Arthur Charles Rowe (b. Aug 1857) & Jennie Keachie (b. 1863; d. 8 Sep 1901). Both are listed as being buried in Greenwood cemetery. Do you have access to a cemetery burial list?
