I was born in Ardmore, Carter Co, OK where my husband jokingly says that I thought Noah's Ark had landed. |
For thirty plus years I have been involved in genealogy. When my mother died, she left some notes about a few ancestors she had uncovered and hoped I would continue her research. That was the hook-in-the-jaw that changed my life. I only regret that I have missed out on so many years that I could have used. Alas, all those family stories that went in one ear and out the other, and all those family members who took so much information to the grave with them.
I am, however, thankful for the tools that are now available and for FindAGrave, a platform that I have spent many hours gaining from and contributing to.
If I have created a memorial for a member of your family, who isn't related to me, and you can add a biographical sketch I will be glad to transfer it to you. However, many have received a transfer/transfers & have never added anything. This isn't fair to kin who may come along later who can do so.
An exception to the above are my Bell, Dodson, Pearson, & Love ancestors and kin, most of whom have numerous descendants. Much of the information contained in their memorials is the result of many years of tedious research, and as new information comes to light, I would like to be able to make those changes. For these memorials please follow FindAGrave guidelines for transfers.
Instructions for ALL REQUESTS for corrections, additional information, or transfers:
1. Go to the memorial page, which has an "Edit" tab located on the upper right side of the memorial.
2. Click on the "Edit" tab, then click on the Suggest a correction or provide additional information link, which opens a message page.
3. Type in your message.
Making a request this way insures that no mistakes are made, because it takes me to the exact memorial.
Thanks for your understanding.

Thank You, that is quite a lot! I'm in the process of linking all her siblings.

I took a better photo, but tried to use FindAGrave's app. I will up load it. You can choose which you prefer. I found a few other Beal burials which I will add.
Long day traveling, but enjoyed trying to get a few photos for Find A Grave!

Ty for the help, I think I can figure it out.. I was hoping I did a good job on his memorial, I am trying to be as accurate as possible, his timeline leaves a lot of questions, and confusion. I just found out Rosa was his daughter, thru the SS index, her daughter, and not a half sib to my father..Cora had 2 younger daughters under the name June before 1950, I can't find a divorce between them before he married my other grandmother Elsie.. can't find a husband with the surname June..It has me wondering what other secrets there is..anxious to find out.lol.

TYVM for transferring my grandfather's memorial.I have updated most of his bio, added pictures, I know how to add spouses, but not the children..Just got to round everybody else up..How do you deal with those who don't allow transfers?
Transferred Martha - I should have automatically thought of the transfer but it was late last night! Lol

I am doing genealogy on the Cole/Cluck family. I see where you have added some information on Lonnie Lee Cole # 79093482 and I am wondering if you are related and where/how you got your information.
Hoping to hear from you soon.
