I am fairly new to Find A Grave, but have been researching for over twenty-five years. |
If you find I've contributed an entry on one of your ancestors, chances are I have additional information on either of my blogs (PDP's Roots & Branches and Early St. Louis by PDP) or one of my websites at the link included.
Please feel free to email me or request a transfer of your ancestor.
The majority of the photos submitted to Find A Grave by me regarding the Collinsville and other veterans of various wars, were posted through the joint efforts of myself and Gene Beals (1955-2013). They first appeared on one of my websites devoted to the veterans: 93rd Aero Squadron, WWI; Brant Military Hospital WWI, Burlington, Ontario; U.S. Veterans of Collinsville, Illinois; and Sons of Spanish American War Veterans, N.A Miles Camp No.610, Collinsville, Illinois.

You're welcome! I was lucky enough to be in Delhi a couple of days last week and the weather was great for wandering through Woodland Cemetery. I found lots of interesting plots to photograph and found some of my own kin, too!
|BjJ||RE: Moses & Jeff Pilcher|
You are quite welcome. I added other info and obits to some of the other Pilchers, so make sure you review. Thanks for your note!

That is very nice.
|Rebecca Lewis||RE: Eliza Gibbs Palmer|
Eliza is a great-grand aunt. I would be glad to have the transfer unless someone else is closer related and would like it.
|Chris L||RE: Lightfoot|
I am not related but feel free to transfer if you'd like. LIGHTFOOT is my husband 's stepfather's name and we really don't go down that branch because there 's no blood relation. Thanks do much for adding info on memorials.

|BjJ||RE: Clarissa (Benjamin) Van Bergen|
Sorry, no, not related. All I know of the Van Bergens is the info that I have posted on their memorials. There is a very nice 1904 Bio book which is where I found most of the info and photo. You might try Googling it to see if it is online somewhere: INDEX TO PAST AND PRESENT OF THE CITY OF SPRINGFIELD AND SANGAMON COUNTY ILLINOIS By Joseph Wallace, M. A. of the Springfield Bar, The S. J. Clarke Publishing Co., Chicago, IL, 1904

|SkipAZ||RE: Tallman in Tully|
Thanks for your kind words. It was about -5F with the wind chill the day I took those. I need to get back down there and re-photograph them with some green grass and leaves on the trees. I have a couple showing the arrangement - Most of the Tallman graves are in the front row of the cemetery, in a single line.

|MWeakley||Clarks in Hillside cemetery|
By the way, Eva M Clark b: 19 Nov 1865 in Peekskill, NY was married to my great uncle (Theodore William Wicht) of Yonkers, NY. Her parents were Benjamine Adam Clark and Mary A Gilbert(s). Benjamine's parents were Benjamine Adams Clark and Emeline F. Lent. His parents were Jacob Dyckman Clark and Abigail Adams. His parents were John Clark and Maria Dyckman. Most of the family members lived and died in Cortlandt and Peekskill area.
Which Clarks are you doing research on? I may have some info on them.
