Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Karen. I have been filling photo requests and adding memorials for cemeteries near where I live in Connecticut, to help others with their research, and to preserve a record of the older stones before they are unreadable and/or get damaged by age, weather, or vandalism.

I have completely photographed many cemeteries in Hebron, Gilead, Amston, Marlborough, Bolton, Andover, Columbia, Lebanon, Colchester, Glastonbury, and East Hampton (all in Connecticut) and have been steadily working on getting them all posted. Please put in any photo requests you have...I may already have the photos, but just haven't posted them yet.

Photo Use Permission
Feel free to use my photos in your personal research and please consider this permission to post my photos on Ancestry and other websites. It would be appreciated if you would credit me and Find A Grave, mainly so that you will have a source citation and so that others can trace it back to get more info. Something like "Photo credit: Karen Carlini (KC) - Find A Grave" would be wonderful! Thanks for your consideration, and I hope I've helped with your family research! :)

Corrections, Additions and Transfers
Please use the "edit" tab if you have additions or corrections to send to me, or if you would like a memorial transferred to you in cases where you are a direct relative and have extensive changes to make. In any case I'm always happy to add bios and further documentation as I want memorials to be as helpful and accurate as possible!

Virtual Cemetery and Surnames
I am related to most of the people in my virtual cemeteries. Some of the surnames I am researching: (north-east) Manchester, Macomber, Pettey, Tripp, Devoll, Rutter, Waltham, Gray, Briggs, Brownell, Corey/Cory, Soule/Sowle, Wodell/Wardell, Lake, Allen, Snell, and (southern) Stevenson, Childs, Chancellor, Garner, Sledge, McGinty, Reavis, Shaw, Miller, Sikes, and Boren. I'm especially interested in old photos of my ancestors and cousins. Please ask if you want more info or want to share. I'm always glad to help and always happy to hear from cousins!

Well Hello Cousin
Reread you bio page. George Soule and Mary Becket/Bucket are my ancestors through son George, Jr, then through the Devol (morphed into Deuell) line.

Hannah (Binney) Sprague
Thank you for the transfer. Also, you are the first person in 100+ years to find the actual record of her marriage, albeit her surname was spelled "Beny." It only appears in Bailey's Lebanon church marriages (2:44) and not in the actual Lebanon church record abstracts itself. Which led to my finding in the Lebanon church record that her parents had temporarily relocated from Milford, Mass. to Mansfield, Conn., then to Lebanon before moving by 1752 with the rest of the children to Weston, Mass. where the parents died and the younger children married. That explains why Hannah and her sister Mary married at Lebanon versus Mass. where all of the children were born.

Hannah's grand aunt Mercy Binney was the 1st wife of Nathaniel Baker of Hull and Barnstable, Mass., the grandson of my immigrant ancestor, Isaac Robinson, the only child of Rev. John and Bridget (White) Robinson to make it (in 1631) to America from Leiden, Holland. Rev. John Robinson was the pastor at Leiden of the core 1620 Mayflower Pilgrims.

You are very welcome. Your Aunt Rose should be with her family. My condolences on your loss. May she rest in peace.

I was kind of curious as to Lillian's connection to the others myself.

Lillian Priaulx in Nantucket
I have uploaded a lot photo as her individual grave is unmarked. I do not know your interest in her, but as an FYI I have added photos of the Swain family markers in the lot.

Nancy Whitney
Thanks KC for taking the time to find and photograph Nancy Whitney's grave. I appreciate it so much. Do you happen to remember if there was a marker for her daughter, Anne Whitney (married name Perzanowski)?
