After spending part of a summer in Michigan, I will be back in Texas late September 2014. |
Should anything I have put on FindAGrave need a change, addition, or a transfer of ownership, just let me know. I'll be happy to promptly do any of them. I also give my permission to anyone who wants to copy any of the photos I've taken. I do expect you'll credit me for taking the photo. When there is a difference in the death or birth date between an obituary and the tombstone, I use the date on the tombstone.
To my fellow FAG Contributors, thank you for all you do and may God Richly Bless You.

|Shirley Welch Summers||RE: Wiman Welsh|
Thanks so much for all your Find A Grave work on this family. I am a Welsh (changed to Welch by an incorrect birth record of my grandfather's). I'm descended from John Welsh (born c. 1800 in Ireland) who is a brother of this familie's patriarch Edward Welsh born C. 1804 in Ireland m. Martha McClelland. Both immigrated to Ontario, CAN sometime before 1835. Many from my branch moved to Port Huron area and my g-grandfather came on to Battle Creek where I was born.
I do have a birth/baptismal record from Web Canada, Wesleyan Methodist Baptismal Register for Wyman/Wiman. The link is: http://search.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/sse.dll?db=WebASM-9194&h=428997&indiv=try
If you'd rather leave it as it is that's fine with me. I just wanted you to be aware that there was a record showing his full name.
Have a great 2015 and happy hunting!

I already have contacted the other person who has a duplicate of mine. They have not responded yet, may be on Holiday vacation. Please give them time to delete theirs. You should have contacted them in the first place and not bothered me about it as I didn't duplicate theirs.
I just want to thank you again, for all the hard work you do; you have posted many headstones to my family, and I really appreciate it. It adds so much to the memory of our loved ones. Nadine

I added some info I found.
|Jean Williams||RE: Helen Klumpp Burmaster|
Info I have is she was born Helen Rosenia Klumpp on 24 Nov 1894, Her family moved around MI, Washtenaw co., Saginaw co., settled in Isabella co. Her husband, Issac Arthur Burmaster was from Canada and that is where she died shortly after giving birth to her only child. She was brought back to be buried with her people in Isabella county. He died in 1941, they were married 30 Oct 1913 in Algoma co., Ontario, Canada. Her parents were Matthias Klumpp and Sophia Barbara nee Essig, she was one of 16 children.
I imagine her husband remarried and died in Canada.

She is by accident shown married to her brother.

I guess we are cousins of a sort! Margaret was my great grandmother and I remember her well. My grandmother was Ida Hensen Meyer and I spend as much time as was allowed visiting her in Sibley as a child.
Would love to communicate with you about the German connections.

I'm glad you appreciated the pictures! I thought for a second about the names and YUP they are my husband's great-uncles. They have property between Drummond and Grandview. Sometimes I laugh when I go to Indiana to visit my daughter or to Milwaukee to visit my sister and people will ask me if I know so-and-so in Green Bay but you are the first that I've had that I said YES to! Did you buy a centennial book? Both Drummond & Grandview books are a wonderful for learning the personal history of the area. If you're ever up or need any more pics just ask. Thanks again,
