Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in MS and after living in CA for 43 years my husband and I have returned to Florence to live. I became interested in my family history during the early 1990's. While searching for ancesters in old cemeteries I was saddened to see the neglect and damage to beautiful old headstones and monuments.

The iron marker in my bio picture is in Greenwood Cemetery, Jackson's oldest cemetery and was made by Pearl River Foundrey owned and operated by a family member in the late 1800's. There are two of these markers in Greenwood Cemetery.

I am happy to photograph headstones and post them to help complete memorials on find a grave. I must give credit and many thanks to my husband, Les and sister, Sue for their help with obtaining burial locations.

My Family names: Parker, Richardson, Winterstein, Switzer, Bell/Beall, Bradley, Dorman. My husbands family names: Davenport, Arnold, Davis, and Stinson.

Fran, I knew that she taught school in Gulfport, but I am unaware as to what she taught. She was my husband's aunt and we attended her funeral services. Ann

RE: Anne Shillinglaw
Thank you very much. I greatly appreciate your help, I am not in Mississippi and won't be able to go there for some time. Anne was my second cousin. Robert Shillinglaw was her husband, Ida was his first wife. Anne's mother is also in Lakeview, her name was Coats Nichols. I don't know how close to each other their graves are. Bhity

Anne Shillinglaw
Dear Fran,

Would you be so kind as to photograph the headstone of Anne Shillinglaw? She was buried in Lakewood in 2014. She was Robert Redfield Shillinglaw's second wife, his first wife; Ida Mckinley Shillinglaw is buried next to him and I am assuming that Anne is on the other side but I don't know this for certain.
Thank you for your kindness.
