RE: Mitchell Cemetery in Walnut
Thanks for the info Jerry. It is simply amazing to me that someone would do that but I imagine it has happened several times in the past. Martha E Rowland Mitchell was the daughter of Isaac Madison & Rebecca Rowland.

Mitchell Cemetery (defunct) in Walnut
Hi Jerry,

I was wondering if you have any additional info on this cemetery? I am particularly interested in Martha E Rowland Mitchell who was buried there. Do you remember where you got the info or if there is anything more on her?

RE: Silver Springs
Jerry, I talked to a lady who is from the Spout Springs community. She says there is an old man named Aaron Davis who might remember that cemetery, but she didn't have his phone no. She says there is a man named Vertis Gates who drinks coffee at MacDonald's who might know Mr. Davis. She thinks there was a cemetery down there somewhere, but that it has probably disappeared because people have forgotten about it. We also don't have any idea who might be buried there, because most of our ancestors who lived in the Silver Springs settlement are buried in the Richardson Cemetery.

RE: Silver Springs
Sorry it took me so long to answer you. My netbook died, and I think my desktop has a virus because it won't let me get into a lot of sites. Anyway, I have a new netbook now. I know some people who live in the Spout Springs/Silver Springs area. Soon as I can, I'll ask some of them if they've ever heard of it.
