Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Steve Bumpas and I have been a part-time genealogist for over 15 years. I have primarily been researching the Bumpas/Bump and Lovett families and all related kin.
Thanks to the help of others I've never met, I have received many photos of my family that I would have never obtained on my own. I would like to return the favor for others who have ancestors buried in my vicinity.

I have posted in Agawam Cemetery three members of Jesse Francis Bumpus (42338023) family:

(1) Mother: Mary Elizabeth Taylor Bumpus 129835349
(2) Sister: Ruth Williams Bumpus 129837089
(3) Stillborn Female Bumpus 129837370

I've put in a request to link Jesse to his mother.

What I'm looking for now is the burial of the parents of Mary Elizabeth Taylor Bumpus who married Linus Elliot Bumpus in 1900. Her parents were William H Taylor b 1851 d 1907 and Mary Wing (Dean) Taylor b 1854 d 1934. The death record for William says he is buried in Wareham but does not give the name of the cemetery.

Any chance you can help me find where they are buried and by a miracle get a photo of their marker(s)?

I thank you in advance.

Would you please change the date of birth on your listing from 1840 to 1804. He was born 20 Jan 1804. Even the stone tells the right date. Thank you

RE: Willina Lovett
Good morning Steve,
While my wife and I were at the Condon Grove Cemetery we recorded the GPS coordinates for Willina and Doyle in addition to the photos. Thought you might want those to add to their memorials for future researchers.
Lat 34.237732, Lon -96.58186.
Happy hunting.
Jim and Dianne
