Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Steve Bumpas and I have been a part-time genealogist for over 16 years. I have primarily been researching the Bumpas/Bump and Lovett families and all related kin.
Thanks to the help of others I've never met, I have received many photos of my family that I would have never obtained on my own. I would like to return the favor for others who have ancestors buried in my vicinity.

Reuben Bump
Steve, do you have Reuben Bump, born Mar 1, 1745 (about) in Wareham MA? He was the son of Josiah Bump *1711-1757 and Hannah Bumpus b May 2, 1707. Josiah and Hannah had Thankful, Mary, Isaac, Patience, Sarah, Josiah, Reuben (my line).

This family attended First Ch of Wareham, MA during the period of Mar, 1740 to Mar. 1745/6.
The last 3 children were baptized in this church.

I am trying to find the wife of Reuben. He married _____ and they had 4 ch. Sally (Lydia?? married a Newton),
Lucy (married Samuel Rogers Nurse), Reuben, jr. (married Margaret Carpenter), and Mary Polly (married Luke Nichols). This family settled in Chenango co, NY.

Hope to get some help with Reuben, his wife_____ and the mother of his 4 children.
Thanks, Caro

RE: Neva Bump
Thanks for the clarification. Even as a "distant" relative, would you like to take over the care of the Bump memorials? BJ

Steve thanks for the edits. Do you know who the other person is? Touched up all the photos some with my better computer and can read some of the letters on the first name. E r o m e? Middle initial is actually now B. It appears that you are somehow related to them all. That's the goal. BJ
