Bio
If you are so inclined, please leave a flower for my husband https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/174105648/robert-dean_baron-von_marenholtz; my younger brother https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/229234388/matthew-douglas-allred and step-son https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/200320231/steven-walter-von_marenholtz. Gone but not forgotten.

Margie is a Navy and Air Force veteran; late husband Bob served in the Army and her late first husband John served in the Marines. I fly our flag every day!
FIND A GRAVE IS A GREAT SITE! Margie has been doing family tree research for over SIXTY years! Her cemetery-loving mom, Doris (Kinkade) Allred Shones, started taking her to cemeteries when she was 8 years old. Margie has spent several decades concentrating on Stickney, Kinkade, Franklin, and Beaver families.
*********************************
Margie photographed over 2000 graves at Washington Veterans Home in Retsil, Washington. She has created over 800 biographies from their free online files at digitalarchives.wa.gov. I have no relatives in this cemetery and want these veterans to be remembered for their service.
*************************************************
I will do my best to help make any memorial as complete as possible. DigitalArchives.Wa.Gov is a FREE site for looking up WA state records and Google has a site for select Online newspapers that is also free. If I come across an obit when reading old papers, I will try and find that person at findagrave and send a correction; I am not usually related. I will cite the newspaper, date and page. There is also no need to ask permission for using any of my 2800+ grave photos - I consider them a public service and you can use them in your family history without crediting me. I also do not need credit for any obits as I always source the paper.
Happy Graving!
