Bio Photo Taphophilia: a passion for and enjoyment of cemeteries.

I am in the process of photo-documenting Sts. Peter & Paul cemetery in St. Louis. If you are aware of errors in any of my entries, please let me know. PLEASE USE THE "EDIT" LINKS AND PROVIDE YOUR MEMBER NUMBER (located next to your name on your member page) if requesting a transfer.

PLEASE NOTE: Because I receive a lot of email, I typically do not reply when sent an edit - just check back in a couple days and you should see it. I usually make edits within a couple days. If it has been over a week, please resend as I may not have received it.

In addition to adding my family, I enter other graves. I am always happy to transfer a grave to a family member, or to update the grave as requested.

Families I am researching for my family include Mueth, Heidenfelder, Bockius, Buehler, Danneman, Frank/Franck, Freymyer, Meurer and Zieger--primarily found in the U.S. in St. Louis and Southern Illinois.

On my husband's side, I am researching Torrence, Findley, Watt, Comstock, Peterson, Norton, Brown, Bieth, Sentman, Ritchie and Sixbury--from all over the Northeast.

Katie, Fredrick's memorial has been transferred to you. Since taking the photo of his headstone, I have wondered why it reads "Dannemank". Do you have any explanation? Take care, Annita

Michael & Anton Martz
These two people are brothers to my great, great grandfather George. I was wondering if you can tell me if there are any parents listed on the paperwork for these 2 siblings.

It seems that my George, Michael, and Anton left Germany. When they left they had a sister, brother and parents still there. Apparently George never spoke of his parents and we were just trying to see if the brothers had anything listed.

If you can I would appreciate it, and than you for your time.

I made a note on the memorial I made for now but I don't see her listed in Resurrection. Would you like to do that or would you prefer I do that?
Either way is fine by me.
Thanks so much for catching that.

Thanks & requesting your source of information
Thank you very much for creating the memorial for Mary Behrens (1799-1875) and photographing the area of her unmarked grave. May I please ask your source of information for that memorial? We are trying to find my husband's 3-greats-grandmother Mary Behrens (1799-aft 1869) who was living in 1870 with her daughter Ann Behrens Hildebrand in Grundy County, Missouri and so far this Mary Behrens is the closest we have found. Thanks again!

In 1902 St. Louis Post-Dispatch list him as the tallest policeman on the force....never ill...never has taken medicine..

In 1904 he dies, from what his grandson said, grandma said " he died from getting sick after he chased a criminal in the sewers below downtown St. Louis"

I've sent info on his birth and death...plus obit on your edit...I would like to add additional info in the future...is this all right. He is my step daughters great, great grandfather
