I have worked on my family history since the early 1980s. My idea of a perfect vacation would be to travel all over the world visiting cemeteries! Since I can't do that, I appreciate all the nice people who have photographed graves of my family. Sometimes when I get home from a cemetery trip, the photos are not what I had hoped for. Please feel free to add your own photos to memorials I have created if they show the inscriptions in a better light, but please don't add identical photos to increase your photo count. I am happy to transfer memorials for family members. If you would like a transfer, or if you would like me to correct a memorial, please use the "edit" tab on the upper right hand corner of the memorial, use the suggestion link, and include your Findagrave contributor number.
Feel free to email me. I have disabled comments because a lot of folks write requests there instead of using the edit tab for corrections and additions.
I grant use of my photos for your personal family history. --------------- Due to copyright law, I am currently trying to find my memorials where an obit has been added in its entirety, and abstract just the facts for the memorial. Any obit published before 1923 is OK, but after that it is safest to assume it has a copyright. I know, the newspapers are genealogy party poopers, but I am trying to protect myself. For more info, see the Legal Genealogist online. If you send me a post-1923 obit, I may paraphrase the info, or just transfer it to you. Please, please do not add images of obits to the memorials.
