Findagrave has a wonderful feature that allows memorial holders to update many requests at a time, but only if done via the Edit tab --- so please try that before leaving information on the profile page! This feature is a true blessing.|
Thank you for visiting!
My mother, Mary Edith "Meg" Stevens and I, were/are long-time supporters of Findagrave -- a wonderful site to place memorials and do research. She sadly passed away in May of 2013, but her love of genealogy and helping others find their family, lives on.
One of my interest areas is the American Revolution. Please feel free to visit my page on Facebook and assist in the research. https://www.facebook.com/groups/RevWarRsch/.
I also welcome you to follow my weekly blog at GenealogyBank or to follow me on Twitter.
Thank you. I wish you success in your family research.

If you wish to download one of my tombstone pictures, you may do so for personal usage and should give proper credit. Under no circumstances should they be added to other sites (such as Ancestry) as if they are your own.

REQUESTS TO ADD OBITUARIES:
Obits under copyright should be summarized, or cannot be posted (many less than 72 years, or longer if a newspaper renewed the copyright.)
REQUESTS FOR TRANSFERS
Please follow Findagrave guidelines to be within a few generations and a direct descendant. For older ones, please communicate the reason.
As the number of memorials I manage increases, I sometimes elect to transfer without being asked. If you received a transfer and do not wish to manage it, please transfer back.

I saw that you had her parents, so I figured to transfer over to you to keep things consistent. :-)
|Karen Brooks||John Wylie Means|
John Wylie Means is my great-great grandfather. He was married to Lucinda Riley. I would love it if you would let me manage his memorial page. Thank you so much!
|Janet Brown||John F. Ramsay/Leah Patterson McKeown|
Wondering if you have any descendant records for John F. Ramsay and Leah Patterson McKeown Ramsay.
|Mary Phalan||Harris in Laurel Hill Cemetery|
I am inputting pictures of gravestones in Laurel Hill and have run into duplicates in Mount Vernon Cemetery. Mary L. B. Harris is in Laurel Hill, buried next to her husband Thomas C. (See #28537282 for Thomas).
Can you transfer them over to Laurel Hill? Her # is 64729502? Thanks!
