Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am the mother of 2 adult children and grandmother of 3 wonderful grandsons and 1 beautiful granddaughter. I also have four adorable cats that are spoiled rotten!

When my daughter was growing up, her and I often went for walks through cemeteries, calling to each other from afar to come and look at a tombstone with some unusual marking or scripture. Others thought us odd.

Many of you have known us as Sue and Doug. Unfortunately, I lost Doug to Melanoma Cancer, after a 6 year battle. He passed away on Dec. 20, 2013. Doug was the love of my life. Be sure to take a look at his memorial. Douglas Dean Ward

Doug absolutely loved to search for the headstones of your loved ones. When we lived in the Fulton, MO, area, he was out in a flash to try to help. As he became more ill, we moved to Hannibal, MO, closer to family.

I will keep our public name as "Sue and Doug." Doug contributed so much to FAG, that I want him to always have the credit.

Please hold your loved ones tight, and never let them forget that you love them.

RE: Thank you
James Bowen b. 1876 (Carrington Cemetery, Mo.) was my great grandfather. His son Ivan, my grandfather. Thank you again, so much. It's just such a gift to see these photos. And to learn some things I didn't know. For instance; I knew Jessie and James had two babies who didn't live long but I didn't know one of them lived from 1907-1909.
I'm sorry you lost Doug. I hope you're doing alright.

Mary J Taylor Parrish
There seems a huge mistake here and maybe you can help figure it out.
There is a Robert Moses Parrish and wife Mary Elizabeth A. Taylor were married and Robert was alive in the 1910 census with his wife Mary Elizabeth Taylor Parrish.
Now here is the problem. I have all the census records. Is no d/c for Robert M Parrish that I have found as yet. I have the death cert. for Mary Elizabeth A Taylor Parrish and the birth and death dates etc. match this memoria for Mary J Taylor Parrish......problem is this is not the grave of Mary Elizabeth A. Taylor death certificate said was buried in Miami, Saline, Mo. and her husband Robert M Parrish did not die on the date listed here in this cem.

I was inclined at first to think was the Parrish family I was looking for but it isn't. I will check the Missouri Digital Death records for a Mary J Taylor Parrish.

Do you understand so far what I am saying? Are you related to the ones on the memorial ??
Under Mary J Parrish I noticed the dates on the headstone did not like same as on the page. Looked like born in March and death date died in March but is really hard to read.

D/C's for Mary J Parrish only this
