I actually had never even thought about looking back into my families history -until I heard 2 versions of a family story.Thinking in our day of technology it would be cleared up within a few minutes.2 1/2 years later I have disproved more than I have proved. But thank you again for the filling in more of my blank lines in my quest for a completed generation chart of my life.
I came across you through Nancy Harmon who married Thomas Curtis .Their son Holland Curtis had Thomas Smith Curtis which in turn had Ellender curtis Wilmoth who had my great grandmother Mary Mertie Wilmoth Allen.Thank you for all the info you have provided makes family family tree work easier

So sorry i could not get more of the mound off. I tried, will need to bring my shovel next time. I do have a picture on each side that shows month. Truly am sorry i could not knock more off.... It was big.

You have a photo request in at Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington, TX for Alma Foster. She is on a double headstone with Fred, but she was buried after the existing headstone photo was taken. It would be a big help if you know the location of the marker. Moore Memorial is big and the staff now refuse to give out burial locations to anybody but family.

Thanks for the information. This got real confusing for me but I think it got solved as the mother is still living!
Hate I am just now looking at this. Only second time in almost a year I've been in Concord was this past Saturday, though only briefly passed through to look at my old homeplace.

..thanks again....she was a beautiful lady....I learned a lot from her about Life as well...if you listened closely to her, you could tell she was wise, this was 1964...surely having the heartache of losing one's husband and the father of her girls was heartbreaking, even though the numbers of women...and possibly men married to military serving women...was Legion during that awful time in history....thank you for filling in that part of her life that now makes her an even larger rolemodel....
