Bio and Links
Bio Photo This is a fun and interesting hobby for me, as well as a great way to perform a meaningful community service to others. Someday I hope to have more free time to devote to it.
In fairness to those who may have closer ties to a memorial, please read the Transfer Guidelines prior to requesting a transfer. I will make exceptions if I am doing photo requests for you. You do not need to "manage" every memorial that is part of your family tree. Remember that this site is for locating burials, not building a tree. There are other websites that are more suitable for that purpose. I will be happy to make any links and corrections. PLEASE use the SAC feature ("Edit" tab). Please do not ask me to do links to any "Burial Unknown". Do your homework, first. FIND A GRAVE ADMINISTRATORS SUPPORT THIS POLICY. Please feel free to add photos where appropriate, as you do not need to manage the memorial to add photos.

I will no longer make Edits for people who do not have their messages enabled. Their insistence on having a one-way conversation does not work. It is too difficult to try to ask you questions regarding your Edits, if you refuse to receive messages.

Since March 2013 I have taken over management of memorials in Inglewood Park Cemetery from Chris Mills. Please continue to send suggestions for corrections using the "Edit" tab and I will get to them as soon as I can.

RE: Estelle Hubbard photo request.
Hi B.J,

Thanks for the nice photo of Estelle Hubbard's marker. The style of marker for Agnes & Estelle are identical, which leads me to concur with your suggestion that there might be a connection. I did some research on Agnes and could not find a relationship. In the 1940 census she was in the Camarillo State Hospital and shown as divorced. Her CA death record shows her mother's name as "Carroll" -- Needless to say, I wasn't able to put anything together that made sense. My hunch is she might be a sister-in-law, Edwin Hubbard did have a brother but I have not researched it. Estelle and Edwin did not have any children and were "alone" in California, so I can rule out a connection to Shelby Williams.

Thanks for all of your work and going the extra mile - very much appreciated!!

Thank you for the photos!
Thank you for the photos of Clarence and Grace Reppert's grave marker! And thank you for creating the new memorial page on F-A-G for Clarence. My wife is a Reppert and I am building her family tree. I appreciate your efforts! - David H.

RE: Manuel Hernandez - Avalon, Los Angeles County, CA
Well I certainly appreciate that bit of information thank you so much. We are looking for one of my relatives and believe that Manuel Hernandez may be the one. There is still more we need to verify but every bit helps, and that includes a photo. Thanks again, have a wonderful weekend.
Regards, M. Hernandez Sr.

RE: Ora Hamm
Thanks BJ Waters. I didn't ever get to know my great grandpa Hamm but his daughter my grandma Ruth Hamm Jenkins just died last year and I was extremely close to her being an only granddaughter. I did know his wife and met a few times my great grandma Alice that I sponsored also. Ora and her 5 children including my grandma I also was able to meet. I especially knew her only brother who was named after Ora L (Lee) Hamm. They just called him Lee. Before my grandma died I had wanted to show her these pictures of the grave that you had taken which I was able to do. Thank you again.
