Bio and Links
Bio Photo Currently researching and writing a book on my Mills family history. My 5th great-grandparents, James and Rachel Mills, brought their family from Maine to Indiana about 1811. I have family that still farms the area where they settled and died. I am proud of that heritage and plan to honor it with this document, now over 300 pages, which I hope to have published by year's end. If you have roots in Gibson County, Indiana, we are probably connected. Leave me a message. Thanks.

Louise Lance
Regarding Ms Lance and your photo request -

I have contacted the administrator for Locust Hill, he has confirmed Ms Lance does have a headstone. I am waiting for him to give me a plot location. Once I have that, either myself or the other Locust Hill volunteer will have your request fulfilled. Not sure how long, but thought I'd give you a head's up that we're working on it.

RE: Gladys B Hopewell - Shelburn, IN
Hello Chris, Gladys is my husband's 2nd cousin once removed. As for her husband and having it transferred to you it seems it is managed by findagrave itself. you can contact findagrave and give them the memorial number and ask to have it transferred.
They are usually very responsive but slow.

Re: Rachel Morrison Fields Barton
I read your note on Rachel's burial. You are incorrect, death certificate confirms she is buried in Shiloh. She died 4,Dec,1917 & was buried in Shiloh cemetery 7,Dec,1917. Informant was son Joseph Barton. It would seem, which death certificate confirms she would be buried with her 2nd husband they were married for 38 years vs 1 year with 1st husband.

RE: Charles H Dilday buried in Princeton, IN
Chris, thank you for writing. I took over this memorial, and have been working on the Dilday family history for quite some time. I have not done any edits to this memorial, and will update it as soon as I gather up the information in my file. You are correct in that he died in Racine.
Best Regards,

Reva M Barr Smith
I was curious how you are related, if at all, to Reva Barr Smith. She is the sister of my great grandmother, Ruth Ann Smith Huntzinger. Thanks for your contributions!

The dates I have on her memorial are the dates listed on her headstone.
