NOT crazy
No problem pretty lady - We all do crazy things every once in a while - which may be a good thing because it helps keep other people (like me) on their toes ;)

I saw today your note about my mothers obituary, and your photo of her gravesite...she was as all mothers are...absolutely a lovely lady, hardworking, talented...she had a twin, who will be 89 this November...she is an outstanding example of without her twin...she once said ...we have been together since conception...started our life together in our mothers womb...I miss her so...they wrote a book of life stories in free verse poetry form...they were on bob Phillips country reporter many times...the were the Granny Poets...I thank you for seeing the beauty and peace of where she rests...and for posting her headstone...I have a photo of her sitting on the head stone, when we buried our day a year is very telling of her love and devotion to him...I thank you ...SUSAN...# 2 child
if you would like one of their books It is easy reading...and tells the story of life...loss of a child... and being in love during war years...and the great depression...they lived it all...I would give you one...if you would like...susan

RE: Van Pelt
Bettie sorry if I did not make myself clear. Senior moment I guess. Her father was Louis Earl Goddard (67726076) and her mother was Pearlie Lockhart Goddard Reeves (19261169). Pearlie remarried because Louis died young. Hope this makes sense. Thx Janet

RE: Betty Kaylor
Hi Betty,
Been dealing with several illnesses within in the family, etc.

Interestingly, I've only had one other complaint about the cemetery watermarks... after a couple of email exchanges it turned out that the person had right-clicked and saved all the photos of all relatives in one family line and was preparing a photo CD to sell at an upcoming family reunion to defray the costs of 'her' Ancestry membership, internet connection and all her had work. She didn't like it that my photos would look different and was almost insisting that I remove the watermarks.

She was still very upset when I inquired if she had obtained permission from everyone else but me to copy and use "her family" tombstone photos in her CD. I then informed her that she was STEALING every time she right-clicked even if she never intended to publish or print such photos but only used them in her genealogy program. I suggested that she SHOULD ASK PERMISSION and would probably be surprised at the generous nature of most family researchers. I also sent her several links to COPYRIGHT ISSUES.

LOL.... I've been researching and SHARING for over 40 years now and I'm still amazed at the ignorance (or feigned ignorance) of people to RESPECT the rights of others both legal & moral.

RE: Herbert Harris Foster
Hi Bettie,
How kind of you. I would love to maintain his memorial. I still visit my step-mother (his sister) so I'll tell her and show her how to locate Findagrave. She has become quite the computer buff!

Thank you so very much,

Thank you for creating the memorial for Herbie, he was my step-mother's brother and a wonderful person. I did some updates on his memorial and added his parents.
