Bio Photo Omaha, NE. I have been doing ancestry research on my family since around 1998. I started with very little to go on back then when there wasn't much information. Times have sure changed over the past 10 years or so. I have added pictures and gravemarkers when ever I can to make it eaiser for others to see who their ancestors are and where they came from.

RE: Viola Mae Downard
She found me! The cemetery map does not line up with her actual plot number. I was looking for a couple other markers out near where the cemetery shows shows her's. I thought I'd take a look and confirm the problem noted on this site and sure enough it's not there. An hour later as I was walking back to my car a granite headstone caught my eye. There weren't any others like that out there and I thought I'd walk over and take a closer look just to admire the stone- and wouldn't you know it the name on it was 'Viola Mae Downward'!!!

Thank you so much for the picture. I think pictures add so much to a family tree.I plan to use the picture on my Ancestry tree. I will surely name you as the source. Again thank you very much.

RE: James, Leeta & Raymond Downard
Never hurts to ask! My maternal grandparents and uncle are buried in Valhalla. It is in the San Fernando Valley which is only about 30 miles from here, but the problem is not the distance, it is the timing. I work during the week and I have my hands full here on the weekends. As far as Alta Dena, I think that is up by Pasadena and I've never been there.

Don't give up on your open photo requests! I recently got a 'success' e-mail on one that I had requested two years ago.

Someone is bound to claim them eventually.

Good luck!

I would be inclined to believe the death certificate. Good luck with your search!

RE: HARLAN C BAILEY 41752575
I have transferred Harlan Bailey's memorial to you. I'm sorry, but when I surveyed the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, there was no sign of David C Bailey's headstone. I posted every photograph I took in that cemetery. It is a small, well-maintained cemetery, so if he is buried there, there is no headstone. Andover is nearby, so you may want to try the Andover Cemetery. It is much larger. I also often use these resources: http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~moharris/hccem.html

Best of luck!

RE: James G Bailey
Hello Susan,
Thank you for asking for permission to use my grave marker photos on the Find A Grave memorial for James & Marion BAILEY, in Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, Oregon.

If you give me credit as the photographer, include that the original photo is on Find A Grave, and give the name and location of the cemetery, you have my permission to post the gravemarker photos I took on your Ancestry family tree. Anyone else who wants to use these photos needs to contact me for permission.
