RE: Edna Rose Freeman Stormer
When I contact the cemetery, they didn't say if she had a marker. The plot location is correct.

Thanks, LZ

Edna Rose Freeman Stormer
Hello - I sent you a message about Edna's burial at Roselawn Memorial Park. I was given incorrect information. She is buried there and the plot location is correct. Do you know if there is a grave marker for her? I apologize for the confusion.

Regards, LZ

Edna Rose Freeman Stormer
Find A Grave Memorial# 88975990

I asked Roselawn Memorial Park where Edna Stormer was buried because she wasn't found at the plot location on her memorial. Even though her obituary has her buried at Roselawn, Roselawn doesn't have a burial record. Are you a relative? Here is the email I received from Roselawn.

"I'm sorry but we show that Edna was not buried here. It is possible that she was cremated and the family intended on having her buried but decided not too. You might be able to call Gunderson Funeral Home to see if they show any records.

I do have 2 Edna E. Stormer's here but no Edna R. Stormer or Edna R. Freeman.

If you have more information for me to check on, please feel free to let me know.

Thanks

Steinbach
Stephanie,

Thank you for listing the burial of the child, Anna Barbara Steinbach who is buried at the German Evangelical and Protestant Church Cemetery in New Berlin(#58717042).
Her parents moved in the 1860's up to Calumet county where they are buried. I was able to find where her parents were buried-at the Free German Cemetery in Potter, Calumet Co.
Please link this child to her parents:
Johann Steinbach # 45806543
Juliana Staab Steinbach #45806544

Thank you.

Question on the Schwabenlenders
Hi Stephanie
I was wondering how you are related in the Schwabenlender family? My grandmother was Anna Schwabenlender, daughter of George Schwabenlender and Elizabeth Frank. Now there are also Schwabenlanders in the area as well. They are from the same family as some changed the name years ago as there were too many Johns and Josephs in the family. I know there was a number of Schwabenlenders in the Addison, Washington County area, that is where they first settled when they came to this country. A number of them stayed in the area but my branch moved to Calumet Country and settled around St John. The farm that belonged to George was later owned by his son Thomas and wife Rose and I think that their daughter Irene may own the place. Just not sure on that. If you want to share information I would be more then happy to that.

Schwabenlender
George Schwabenlender 35559434 was married to Elizabeth Frank Schwabenlender 35559502. There should be a listing for a stillborn son George who was born in 1900 and buried in St John Cemetery in St John. Their son Joseph is buried in St Mary in Hilbert. Daughter Vila Genslak 35558800, wife of Adolph Genslak; and a daughter Wilheminne Bauer, wife of Joseph Bauer, not sure where they are buried. I added a your link for George and Elizabeth to my grandmother Anna. Elizabeth Frank was the daughter of Nicholas Frank 51118094 and Theresa Kneisel Frank, burial place unknown

George's mother is Elizabeth Huber Schwabenlender born 1840 in Germany, died 8.29.1906 in St John and buried in the parish cemetery.
