|Bio and Links|
|I am an Illinois high school teacher who became involved in an memorial to the 192nd Tank Battalion which fought on Bataan. Since then, we have added the 194th Tank Battalion and 17th Ordnance to the website. Most of the pages I deal with have to do with members of the two tank battalions or 17th Ordnance. In addition, there are a number of pages that are memorials to former students, of the high school I teach at, who died in World War II and Vietnam. |
I also have added memorials to men who are named on the Tablets of the Missing at Manila and are listed on the ABMC website but, for whatever reason, had no Find-A-Grave page.

Thank you for the bio. It has been added.
Thank you for the additional info on Harry. He is from my town. I have been compiling a file on him and have more info I will add as I get it all together. I have info from a witness stating he had a severe hip wound. Such a horrible end for him and others like him.

Hello, This is my niece's relative so it would be wonderful to also pass on where you gathered all the information from. Then she can pass it on to other relatives as Matthew is remembered to this day by those he left behind so many years ago.
Thank you so much and I will add the information to his bio section.

Thank you for the information - I have placed it in the bio. My dad told me a story of a ship that was blown up in the Admiralty Islands while they were offloading heavy construction equipment - many sailors died. I have access to his Navy photos, and some are pretty horrific. Fortunately, he came home alive - I was only 4 years old then. Thank you.
