RE: female besemann
Hello. Thanks for your note. Do you have a memorial number for this entry? I have a Wilhelmina Auguste "Minnie" BESEMAN (1875 - 1945) and Gustav Carl Ernst RAHN (1873 - 1943) buried in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery in Swanville.

Regards,

Doug Kalahar

Yokom in Prospect Cemetery, Toronto, CA
Hi,

I was wondering if you live near this cemetery. I see that you posted some Yokoms buried there and if there are any tombstones that can be photographed? This is my husbands ancestors, but we live in the Chicago area so I don't think we will get to that area.

Thank you,
Carole Yokom

RE: Murphy family
Hello Alexis,
I have no relationship to the Murphy's buried at Mount Hope. I am in the process of photographing the entire cemetery and they were added from a batch I already photographed. I spent 3 hours there today taking photo's and I'm exhausted. Got lazy over the winter. Ha! Got plenty of exercise.

Take care
Judy

Forum paper article
Alexis, I enjoyed reading about you in the paper today. Nice pictures and story. My kids all know that I like to do the same stuff, so they all called me to tell me about the story and wondered if I knew you. I said I sort of knew you based on some of out emails and I always see your name around in the other cemeteries I look at. Great job, loved to see it. Brent

Ricky Hejl
Hi Alexis,
My name is Kate Crandall and I am a member here also. I first want to thank you for starting the profile on my uncle Ricky Hejl #92697673, and adding his headstone picture. I was going to do this after the service our family did but unfortunately my camera with those pictures was damaged. I was please to find you had already done this. Ricky wasn't one for having his picture taken and I finally found one among his belongs that we found in storage. I just added it to his profile. I was wondering if you could add his DOB and DOD to his profile...Here is the information to do that. Born: Sept 16,1954 in Wheaton, Cass, ND Died: Dec 21,2010 in St Paul MN

Cause of death: Ricky was a alcoholic and died of liver cancer due drinking. He became ill Jan 2010 where doctors found abnormalities in his blood tests they have taken during his hospital stay. After several tests he was finally diagnosed with liver cancer in May 2010 and was told at that point that no treatment could be done because it was already spreading to other organs and that he had 6 months or less to live. Before his diagnoses he resided in Wisconsin in a lakeside cabin by himself, his neighbors were miles away. After his diagnoses he asked his older sister Twyla if he could live with her because he was afraid to pass away alone. He passed away at his sister's home with hospice care.

(Note: When he told me of his diagnoses, I started to cry because we were really close, he told me not to cry for him because he said he did this to himself and now wished that he would of gotten help when he had a chance to do so and that he didn't want anyone's pity because he messed up. His sister Twyla is my mother.)

Thank you for all that you do :)
Kate Crandall (niece of Ricky)
