We have noticed that some people load photographs on Find-A-Grave and post a message saying they are not to be used without permission. PLEASE use the photos we submit if you'd like! That's why we put them on here!! |
This whole thing got started with her making a comment that she knew nothing about her family. It has now gotten TOTALLY out of hand!! We have now surveyed every accessable cemetery in Harrison and Mercer County, Missouri and researched those that are not accessable. Now we're starting to photograph them. We have submitted the surveys and photographs to the county GenWeb sites.
We enjoy tracing the "roots" and various limbs of our family trees, and are often surprised at the nuts that fall out! She seems to be related to EVERYONE. Him...not so much. We also enjoy helping others in their search! So if you have connections in either of these counties and have requests for cemetery photographs or obituaries, please let us know. We're not professionals, but we're not too bad at it!!
If we "manage" a memorial you are interested in or are related to, we'd be more than happy to transfer it to you! The exception would be if it were one of our own close relatives, then we'll probably decline the request.

My grandparents are Henry Curtis and Stella Stotts Wiley. the stone is fine but the cement block it's sitting on is cracked. I didn't get up there yet this year, when you drive into Sharon there stone is by the road you drive in on. My Aunt Lois Butcher was the last. so it's up to us grandkids and since I'm the only one that comes up there, I wanted to see if I could get it fixed.

Phil and Kathi,
Do you live in Harrison county? If so could you tell me where I can get some work done on my Grandparents monument at Sharon Chapel.

You're Welcome. I looked for his name in the database, and nothing came up,the Rangers checked the binders they have and could not find him either. Being unknown is just that, and there is no telling how many are buried that are not in their records.I'm glad I could help you out By providing something.

Thank you so very much for all your time spent looking for a tombstone for them.
You are very much appreciated!!!

I was happy to look for Mary, I always enjoy going to the old country cemeteries. I can't say for sure that she is there in an unmarked grave, only that I could not find a stone for her.
Have a great day

Phil & Kathi,
Thanks so much for this photo, as well as the many others that you have taken in the past in this cemetery! I reacently went through this cemetery and edited, linked, and added your photographs to as many memorials as I could, giving you credit for those photos on each applicable memorial. THANK YOU!

My pleasure. It was a good day with 16 finds in one section.

I would love to see the family obituaries that list her as Alma Lovett. Could you share that obituary with me. I would like to clear this up.

continuation of message. She was listed as E C Love and I have found a marriage record for her as well as the 1920 and 1930 Census for her and Edwin C Love. Would love to hear from you.
