This name is incorrect. It should be Julia L. Blackstone. The stone marker is correct.
Thank you, Ann Rose
|Ronald C Humphrey||RE: cawley family|
Hi Deborah, Thanks for the reply. Maybe I can do some research on Reason Cawley.
I will try to scan some photos into my computer and send them to you.
I have the same photo of James that is on the find a grave site. One of my relatives in Salt Lake City gave it to me when I visited them many years ago.
While not in the Cawley family, the wife of Reed Smoot Cawley, Laverne, Nee Glover was an interesting person. Her father (think on this ) was a Civil War veteran. Her father remarried very late in life and she was born. How many people do you know that can say that they hugged someone whose father fought in the Civil War?
Any way, let me get my stuff in order and I will get back to you.

I too am a direct descendant of James Cawley. My mother was Corine Cawley, then her father Percy M. Cawley, his father George Jackson Cawley, hes father William Cawley, his father James Cawley.
I have the same photograph you show in your post. I have always wondered who James' father was, but always hit a wall.
Get back to me if you like. Thanks.
Ronald Cawley Humphrey

Hi I am wondering what your relationship to Micheal Wayne Martin (Memorial# 28586160)? He is a distant cousin of mine. His grandfather is my great-grand uncle.
And I would like to know what caused his death. Thank you for your time.

Truman Freeman is also my 5th ggf. Then to Jonathan Palmer (4th ggf) brother to Nathaniel. Then to James (3rd ggf) and Mary Collins Palmer. Then to Jonathan Fletcher Palmer 2nd ggf. Yeah we are definitely distant cousins.
Deborah, I've noticed that you maintain a number of Palmer grave memorials. What is your kinship? I've sent you a number of links to Mary Collins and James Palmer for their children. Mary and James are my 3x great grandparents. Just wondering.

Can you please tell me how you are kin to Aunt Mamie?

Hi there. I think this memorial may be my 3x great grandmother. My 2x great grandmother is Sarah Belle Lloyd (married Tarrants then White). I was wondering if we could share info to see if I have the right person for my 3x great grandmother.

Have you ever applyed for A CSA Market for Elbert. I dont really know the process of getting one. You might check with the VA (Veterans Admin). Are an Historical Club. It doent cost anything the Gov. will cover the cost of it. It would be nice to see another CSA head stone in Leonard Cemetery. Jackie
