Bio Photo I was born, but not until the time was right, according to my mother. WWII officially ended in Europe at 12:01AM on MAY 9th, 1945, it was 5:32AM that I felt comfortable enough to enter this world.
My life: school,boat-building,service during Vietnam, boat-building,letter carrier, more school, small store owner, and craps dealing in Nevada.
Retired now with 3 sons, a granddaughter and grandson- 1 each, and maintaining the 6 OLD houses my wife and I own. So you can see that I NEED ANOTHER hobby!
Really, I am happy to help out everyone I can.

Photo permission
May I please have your permission to use your photo of the gravestone for Simeon Booker in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery on my ancestry.com family tree, with attribution to you and Find a Grave? Thank you very much for your consideration. Gwen

Thank you for looking for the grave and for photo-documenting what you could in this cemetery. I have asked the person who manages this memorial to add a special note on the memorial stating that gravestone has already been looked for and is probably unmarked.

Best,

Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Reno
Hi Donald, I saw your note about The Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Reno only being open on Memorial Day Weekend. I am coming to Reno mid July 2012 and I am planning on visiting this cemetery as I have several relatives (Balzars) buried there. Can you tell how I might go about getting into the cemetery to place flowers on theirs graves in July? In years past, I was able to obtain a key from the neighbor across the street and access the cemetery. The last time I visited the cemetery, the lock was "fake-locked" and I was able to enter. I would appreciate any help or information you can give me.

Thank you in advance,

Linda Nelson

RE: Humansville
Finally I got a chance to look at Humansville. I have The Keithleys who are in Nevada and my Grandfather lived near West Plains. My husband & I have been down there to photograph some cemeteries. We call it doing the back roads of Missouri. We think it is a beautiful state.
Nice to hear from you.

RE: Humansville
For some reason Google would not let me move around in Humansville but I do some Coe's in that area. Missouri SOS has some good record's & all are free if you are interested.
