I began contributing to Find A Grave as a means to record the headstone inscriptions I had transcribed from walking many cemeteries back in the day, mostly Audubon, Cass, Clarke, Madison, Polk and Warren counties in Iowa and mostly relatives. This was before Find A Grave and way before Find A Grave turned into a genealogical site. My main goal is to preserve what was written on the headstones and to learn about the people.|

Karen, I just completed photographing Dripping Springs Cemetery for the Missouri Gravestone Project, adding any missing photos to the Find a Grave site. I am sad to say that Walter's graves does not have a stone.

Thanks Karen. Yes, my husband is one of these Campbells, George C his great-granddad, Newton his grandfather, Opal his mom. I see that you have added several Campbell memorials. Are you researching the George C family? There are so many Campbells that it makes it tedious to research them.
I noticed you stopped by Robert Warren's memorial in Oregon. I had also traced him down and believe he is in the family, but....
I just found the newspaper account of Burrell Campbell's death but still have not found a burial site. I believe it to be in the Wiota cemetery, but the stones were highly damaged a few years back and no one seems to have the records.
Drop me a line if you have time.

Margo already has, or should have my email address as I've written her a few times on our mutual Lanning line that she claims she has proof of a particular marriage and for what ever reason she never has continued a dialogue. Nor has she ever provided the marriage info she claims to have.
So maybe I'm being a jerk, but at this time I don't see the necessity or any obligation to reveal any circumstantial evidences I have accumulated about this particular Williams line to her.
By my listing Gideon as Oren Capron Williams father simply allows other viewers an opportunity to see the possible connection, and therefore further their research, especially with ones that are willing to share information they claim to hold.
Noted on Public Family Trees and Find A Grave Gideon is listed as father to Oren, and husband to Fanny...mother of Oren...hmmm?
I don't expect you to be caught in the middle of this, so if it's easier for you go ahead and delete Gideon as Oren's father please do so. Nothing lost as other records support that claim.
I apology for any disruption of your peace this may bring your way.

Can you give me an email for that person? I would definitely like to have his Proof!
Are you related to this line?

I see you have Gideon Williams listed as Oren Capron Williams Father. I have been researching this line for at least 20 years and I have found no proof that Gideon is the father of Oren. Even though I have thought there might be a connection, there is not enough evidence to state that there is a father son connection here. Oren Capron Williams was born in 1822 in Saratoga New York.
If you or anyone else have been provided evidence to support this father/son connection, would you please e-mail me at email@example.com. This is my brick wall Williams line.
